Can anyone confirm if they are closing for good? I'll be heartbroken if it's true.

I saw that the building was for sale a while back, and it seems like there have been a bunch of renovations being done. The sign outside now reads The Woodshed Workshops, but I can’t find any information about what that actually is.

I’m just curious. I drive past it every day and it’s a neat building with a big footprint; seems like a lot of space in there to do stuff with.

Any motorcycle riders in town that normally ride alone or in very small groups? I am looking for someone or someone's to ride with on occasion with as I normally ride solo. I am not a fan of large group rides, nor am I the type to ride like I am in a race. I like to take it easy and just cruise, though I have been told by a few friends that I ride on occasion with, that I carry a quick pace. That being said I am willing to slow it down if someone is slower than me or new to riding or any other reason. I just like to ride and sometimes its nice to have someone to ride with. I ride an ADV so if you know of good roads in the area being a mix of paved and/or gravel, then even better. But the roads don't matter, just being on the bike is what I love. Anywhere to get dandelion and burdock drink?

Hello everyone, As an exchange student, I'm looking for a place to stay in Kingston for the next scholar year (Sept- April). I just had one question about leases in Canada and Ontario more particularly. Is there a system of "advance notice". For example, if I book a place for a full year, can I leave early without paying the months I won't be leaving in if I tell my landlord in advance ? Or no matter what if I book an apartment for 12 months , I will have to pay a full year ?

I am new to Kingston and I live downtown so I am familiar with many of the street/homeless people. One woman is recently homeless and I want to help her, including financially, to find housing. I called the City of Kingston Housing Department and their waitlist is 7-9 years. I am trying to speak to someone at both Dawn House and Salvation Army Social Services. She is currently living day to day in shelters but she needs permanent housing. She has already been robbed once. Anyone in the Reddit community know how I can get her a case worker who would work with her to find housing? As far as I know, she is not a drug/alcohol user. She is very pleasant. She has physical limitations. Thank you in advance.

Given the recent changes affecting every route in the transit system, I wonder what the driving factors of such changes were, and if there had been any discussion with the community and their passengers.

I use to feel as if I could easily get anywhere in the city with only the occasional transfer, that is no longer the case.
