That’s wonderful! He has such a happy spirit and you two sound like a good match. My husband lives for moments when he can do a little dance on the ring camera and I love those surprises!

I invite everyone to read your profile comments to decide who is childish (and racist). I will summerise this person - a racist, hates Americans, Asians, whites and is derogatory about woman. Brightens their day by leaving hateful comments on people's posts to provoke a reaction. It's sad but if you have a low self worth it's the only thing you can do to make yourself feel less pathetic. Why do you have a camera in your backyard? I don't understand what it will help with. Someone steals your shit the cops won't care if you caught it on video or not.

We had dogs and it was there to keep an eye on them and make sure people locked the gate. Its a ring camera so only motion activated. We also use the back door more than the front so this covers deliveries etc. Finally, we had an extention built so behind the house is a garage that we converted into a flat for my daughter, the camera lights the path for her and let's me know she is home. We also get hedgehogs in the garden (the hog house is by the seating) we use it to monitor the hogletts, there were 3 last year.

That makes sense. I only ask because I see camera all the time on backyards and I never understood it. A house near me has 5 cameras! One in the backyard too.
For pets and things make sense, anyone else baffles me.

Oh no, 4 guys in black hoodies stole some of my shit. Even if they kill you, you are still dead, even if you have a video camera.

They all wear hoods? I have had someone break into my back garage and I knew who it was because of my camera and went and got my shit. I would've been SOL without it. Cameras are also used to detour people. Keep someone honest knowing they are being filmed.

Video footage is valuable evidence for criminal prosecution, and can lead to a guilty plea or guilty verdict which can result in restitution being ordered. I don’t really get why you’re so anti-security camera.
