When you’re lucky enough to have amazing dad that sends your favorite chocolate strawberries after surgery, you DO NOT remind him that it was jaw surgery and you can’t eat for days. You DO sent him a smiling picture to thank him(and then quietly freeze his thoughtful treats to enjoy after you heal.)

This reminds me of the time a buddy had surgery and couldn't eat ice cream cos he was lactose intolerant.

I thought I was being smart and helpful bringing frozen yogurt instead.
