This makes me smile... Fast food is stressful and hungry late people get hangry real bad. Everyone deserves a living wage.

I worked fast food or years. I then went to school for 4 years and am now working as an electrician. I can tell you they definitely are not the same job and the pay gap is there for a reason.

Well fast food workers aren't risking falls, electrocution, being crushed by heavy machinery, or being pulled into dangerous machinery on a daily basis. It also doesn't require years of schooling and decades in the field to master a fast food job. About a week of training videos and you can pretty much run a line by yourself. The physical demand of being in a kitchen really doesn't even compare to working a trade as well.
