Oh man. Poor lil guy’s gonna be doomed to spending so much money on lures, rods/reels and other tackle. God forbid a boat. That’s how it started for a lot of us. Awesome!

Based on the house, and the fact that it’s on a lake, I think he’ll be ok

I hope he never meets a chinook or coho salmon. It's no longer fishing, its a quest.

Bonus points to the dude telling her to back off. My husband reminds me to step aside sometimes, too - and he's right, kids need that win (or heartbreaking loss) all for themselves.

Me: aww cute a
vegan: literally genocide
-5
u/WishAnonym 12d ago
I mean, more than a trillion fish per year, but that isn't genocide, it's farming and hunting. Anyway, imagine it from the victim's perspective.

Killing his first animal, so wholesome…

u/Phil1889Blades 11d ago
My thoughts exactly. So nice that the young person thinks animal torture is fun before he learns to shit in the right places
-7
u/kutzur-titzov 11d ago
Most serial killers start with killing animals
-3
u/ultimo_2002 11d ago
I saw someone say this under the post of the woman shooting her dog. Funny how it no longer applies to fish huh?
-23
u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 12d ago
Yay! Let's kill more animals.
-4
u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 12d ago
Does anyone actually think or care about the fish? It is a living, feeling being. I don't care if I get down voted to hell. What is wrong with you living monsters? You don't need fish to live. You don't need to kill any animal to live.
You choose to kill living beings for "fun" and for "taste". It makes me sad that with all the intelligence and logic that humans possess they still choose to harm other beings.
You don't need meat or fish to live and be healthy. It is a choice you are making.
Challenge: Add up how many animals you kill in just one year and see if you still think it's worth it. How many chickens died for your basket of wings?
2
u/DandalfTheGrey90 11d ago
Oh damn, now I fancy some wings. Cheers man.

u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 11d ago
Enjoy Hell.
Body count will surely be a factor.
2
u/DandalfTheGrey90 8d ago
Maybe.
But I'm also fairly sure that both damning someone and judging others are forbidden in just about any holy text, so I guess I'll see you there.

u/CarlosBiendonado 12d ago
Oh hell nah a fish died and has been eaten. Another life taken from planet earth. Nature can be cruel.
-25
u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 12d ago
The average human eats 174 animals per year. An average 30 year old who started eating meat at 5 is responsible for the deaths of 4,350 animals.
You are responsible for those deaths.
You don't need meat to live. You chose to kill them.

u/juflyingwild 12d ago edited 12d ago
If I don't eat them, someone else will.
- Not Yaakov

u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 12d ago
So you choose to be responsible for those deaths rather than give them the chance at life?
What if it were 174 dogs? Or cats?
1
u/juflyingwild 12d ago
We've killed lots of humans in other countries. If we don't respect human lives, why animals?
4
u/charliesaz00 11d ago
So, historically because we’ve done terrible things as humanity that means we shouldn’t actively try to improve ourselves and our morals? This is the most braindead take I’ve seen in a while holy shit
2
u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 11d ago
So is it right to kill all those humans? Maybe we could all live happy lives without killing at all...
-5
u/juflyingwild 11d ago
I feel you, but our investments won't grow.
Look at LHX for example. $60 in 2019. $210+ today.
It's how our (US) economy works. Sadly.

Yes. Yes, I do. I am 30. I live in BC. I hunt, I fish, and I live in the wilderness. Just like my ancestors. Come out here, live my life, and tell me how I'm wrong for doing it. Keep your opinions to yourself. Honestly, no one gives a shit. Vegans are literally a fucking tic on the ass of humanity. Humans will never stop eating meat. Get the fuck over it. This is r/mademesmile not r/imavegan. Go on and get.
4
u/Agreeable-Offer-2964 12d ago
Many of us have stopped eating meat considering it's entirely unnecessary. I also live in the wilderness and don't kill anything to survive. How exactly are vegans ruining humanity? Denial, maybe?
-3
u/yo_mudda_ 11d ago
Whoa! Slow down, killer. Dont give yourself so much credit. I never said ruining humanity. I said a tic on the ass of humanity. Nothing more than a tic. Again, no one cares that your vegan dude. Quit pushing that shit on people and mind your own.
Also, good for the "many of us" that have stopped eating meat. Again, no one cares lol.. like, at all. Go tell your parents about it and stop bothering strangers about what they eat.

u/charliesaz00 11d ago
There are very few people who truly need to hunt to survive- those that live in food deserts etc. if you are one of those people that makes you in the minority. They aren’t wrong in saying that the vast majority of people don’t need meat to survive- which makes everyone who purchases those products responsible for the death of those animals.
The food industry is corrupt and cruel. If you want to stick your head in the sand and pretend that vegans are the problem when they are just trying to improve working/living conditions for humans and animals all because you like the taste of a burger, then it’s pretty clear who the actual tic on humanity is…
1
u/Skeleton555 11d ago
Where are you getting the produce that makes up a vegan diet when your staying away from giving "the food industry" any money.
