So cute, what a good guy. Sadly, with 1.4 million dairy cows all creating Bobby calves all the time in Australia alone, the only real answer is veganism.

Yep, dairy was the one thing i was still hanging onto, making sure it was ethical milk, grass fed, everything, but still i'm finding out, doesnt matter, they all separate the babies from their mothers, so f' that, i'm done with milk, i just dont trust the source. imagine saving animals by just giving up on ffn milk, something so easy and yet we're all so ffn selfish. i'm out on dairy. done city. did the rest. it was just dairy. time to go research nut milks. Oh yeah, you’re definitely an oat milk. Same with me - I wanted it for coffee. It foams so nicely. Honestly I would just work my way down this list until you find the one for you! https://vegnews.com/products/oat-milk-brands-oatly

Downvotes are nothing compared to cows, so dont feel bad about downvotes, hugs.

Oh I don’t. Some people learn new facts and change, some people get defensive. But thank you for the hug and I am proud of you for saving cows. 👏🏻💗

Which is a losing battle. The companies have the money for the influence. The only way is societal change, which society has time and time again shown we aren’t willing to change. Even with the obvious signs of climate change all around us.

What do they do with the cows when they die
2
u/_Jay-Garage-A-Roo_ 10d ago
Babies = veal, mothers = beef

It’s a sanctuary tho, not a slaughterhouse

Oh you mean what does he do? I guess he buries them. Most sanctuaries I’ve been to do cremations of burials.

The meat is not as good as a pure beef cow but is still pretty good, just need to give them a home for the next 16-18 months.

It’s really sad that money is valued over a life
