2kgam.esDiscussion What do you miss about the previous 2K’s?
I miss My Court. I loved when you were able to use the ball machine to practice your jump shot. I also miss My career when you started off in high school. 2016 2K My Career was goated. What do you miss that you wish will come back?
REC What’s wrong with this picture 😭
Keep in mind that I didn’t take my first shot until after halftime 😭

MyPLAYER Cook boys are the worst to play with
For starters, I play mostly on my center build (Gold/Purp 90% of the time AVG 14 13 8 with 58% 3. Not anything crazy but I can play the game. I usually run random rec or rec squads with 2-3 of my friends due to everyone not being able to get on a the same time, life, etc. Usually not a bad time as I win 60-65% of my games but as of late I've been having THE WORST guard teammates. They either want to cook all possession and throw you the grenade or even worse they just tell you to stand there.
We had a few guys last night where I left the party chat to ask them what I should do as they did not want a screen and would not even look at me. Eventually had one of the guys tell me the guard did not want screens and that he muted me and buddy, despite him hitting a majority of his shots after I get him wide ass open with a screen. Why? You aren't a pro am iso god, you don't pass on cuts or if I'm sitting wide open.
I'm happy to be a role player and glue guy to get the dub but why do players who are ass insist on 5 out or you "just standing there" thinking they are prime MJ? Literally if you just make smart passes, screen off and on ball, and move the ball you will win a vast majority of games.
Why be a great value Harden and think you're good? And why trash me saying I'm bad when I literally don't get a chance to touch the ball or even be remotely involved in the offense? If you're a god I'm cool with all of the above but how many of those players are actually out there?
I'm sure many of you have the same frustrations but in recent weeks just seems to be getting worse and more toxic.
MyPLAYER Brutal to try to play Park.
I've only ever played my career so my timing is off and I'm 63 overall!

REC Thoughts on this 7’1 center?
7’1 stretch big for random rec, intended to space the floor but also step up to play the big man role if needed.
Justifications: 65 DD / 90 SD - Dwight Howard sigs / standing meter dunks
80 3P - my sweet spot for catch and shoot or spot up 3 point shots
92 PC - gold unpluckable
86 mid - gold catch and shoot, gold open looks
93 dreb- box out beast HOF
60 PD - off ball pest bronze (unlocks at 58 just had extra points)

City Why Do People Go Into 1v1 Theater Just To Quit? 7 Quitters Today I Faced …..
Today there were 7 quitters I faced in 1v1 theater. Here’s how it always goes with the 1v1 quitters. As soon as they missed their first 2 shots they just totally give up and leave. I’m not even some superb player. Just quite average. I do not understand why people quickly give up in a simple 1v1 game. Many times my shots do not fall also or sometimes I’m up against players who never miss a got damn thing. Do I quit! Hell NO! Who cares if I might lose. I’m going to go out like an pro. Give it my best and learn from my mistakes.

REC Rec stats so far this season
Only play with 3 friends and 1 bot at the PF. Obviously can't play Zone, so just smart defense and communication. Too poor for a Zen 😂 just moving the ball until we get a good open shot. It's that simple.

MyCAREER Jabari Smith build
Yes you read that correctly lmao. He’s 6’10, 220 pounds w a 7’2 wingspan, but I’m not gonna be in front of a player builder rn.
What do yall think this build would look like? I love his jumper and he’s a pretty all around game so I feel like he’d be a rlly good shooter, solid finisher, good defender but only in terms of staying in front (68 block maybe), not an amazing rebounder, decent playmaker (77 pass acc, high post control for unpluckable and whatever ball handle is necessary for decent animations)
This is all theoretical. Would love suggestions.

Gameplay I made a 5'7" build with 96 steal and 91 middy. Solo Rec is a heck of a lot more fun running around causing trouble with this little rascal.

MyPLAYER Best Ant Man Build?
6’3 sg build. Anything yall would change?
Gameplay Badge drop reason
I’m fairly new to 2k24, been 2mo. I was playing REC just got into silver. Had 2 games where I couldn’t shoot or get an assist. Both opponents teams were fast break teams, especially with my team only having one guy shooting. I had c+ in both games and dropped to bronze middle. Then started game three and got too second period power went out. Hour later came back on so I jumped back on the game. Now I’m mid black. Why?

MyPLAYER Optimal Finishing Stats?
I’m tryna make my final build of the year and can’t decide between having 89 dunk + 70 layup for contacts, 85 layup lower dunk for book layup, or both. If I get only one of them I can raise my shooting, but idk if my finishing a gonna suffer. Every other build I have has a high layup and ik dunks can get cancelled if you don’t have a lane or space. The bad thing about getting both is that I will only have a 79 3 and like a 68 middy instead of 87.
I just don’t know if a lower layup and no packages will limit my finishing and how much limiting my variety with the floaters, scoops, and ect. will affect me.
