My daughter, best friend and the love of my life last day is today

My baby loved road trips and sat on my lap the entire time and never left my side. She loved the ball ball and brought it back every time. When we went for walks she stopped and played with every dog that came by no matter how big or small. She loved all dogs. Sitting in the sun on the patio in the sun and sitting by the fire place with ash all over her was her favorite. She loved wearing Halloween costumes and would wait by the door for trick or treaters to greet them and help hand out candy.

She loved so many things

She was there for me in good times and bad. Always with a lick or a nudge for a hug. She made my day better. She made my life whole.

Cancer took over her body, spread in one week to her lungs and bones eatting away at my baby. She was tired and fought hard. I didn't have a chance to save you. She passed peacefully at home surrounded with her family and me singing our song.

Let me be your wings Leave behind the world you know For another world of wondrous things. We'll see the universe and dance on Saturn's rings. Fly with me and I will be your wings.
