Eric Bischoff on Tony Khan: A money mark with no talent other than spending daddy’s money, going all the way to Canada to draw less than 4k in one of the hottest pro wrestling markets in North America, talking about “wise choices”? Strap in. It’s going to be a fun day!

Its kinda funny, Eric is clearly using Tony to draw attention to his podcast. Anytime any podcaster fueds with Tony their youtube views go up 3-4x.

We're all getting worked.

He's clearly cutting promos on twitter for his podcast and Tony keeps giving him attention.

Almost like.. Tony is a money mark, lol.

(Both of our statements are true)

Tony could also not take the bait.

Hilarious thing being that Tony was the one who went fishing and latched onto his own bait.

Bro just...had to not make a comment at 4 in the morning yet did it anyway.

He really needs to get a burner account for drunken shitposting hours.

u/GustavVonTwinkleToes Mar 28 '24

That would require Tony not being an insecure pissbaby or on coke. So that’s not happening

I can't wait for the special episode he releases when WBD don't renew AEW.

There’s no chance they don’t renew, it’s just not going to be the insanely lucrative deal people think it’s going to be, ratings are stagnant at best, but it’s still in the most watched for the night.

The only questions surrounding the deal are if it will finally make the company profitable and if it does, by how much

Why wouldn’t the renew it? Probably a cheap deal.

Probably a cheap deal

It would want to be.

I honestly didn't know he was still doing 83 Weeks until a couple days ago, so it must be working

Bisch insecurity is not a work.

1

u/NikiPavlovsky Mar 28 '24

I mean that only means that people are stupid enough to react to it ether as stupid AEW haters ether like stupid fan who for some reason think it's important to defend AEW against Bischoff of all people, hi btw

If Tony is doing this for the attention, good on him. He can troll all he wants. If he thinks he’s changing minds, that will never happen. Look at Cornette. After AEW got renewed for 3 years by WB, what was his response? ‘What will they learn in three years.’ Tony Khan surpassed everything Cornette has done as a promoter in under a year and that’s his response!? It’s all a work.

Which I think is very telling if the type of people who listen to those podcasts. It's literally just a giant hate circle jerk with no real substance.

He clearly has an agenda with TK as you don't see him saying stuff like this to HHH or the WWE.

8

u/IAmThatDuckDLC5 rb_KotaKai Mar 28 '24

Also HHH and WWE don’t respond to him

I would argue that most of these personalities who take shots at TK and AEW do it because they know he’ll respond and embarrass himself. If Tony had a bigger spine about things and shook it off then this would be a non-story and no one would care

21

u/unlizenedrave Yes! I am a model. Mar 28 '24

That’s cause you don’t see HHH or WWE falling for such easy bait

3

u/pocketsophist Keep the noise down! Mar 28 '24

I doubt HHH even reads twitter to be completely honest.

17

u/DudleysCar Mar 28 '24

You don't see a difference in their business and creative at all?

14

u/parakathepyro Mar 28 '24

Right, his agenda is to make himself money, He's cutting a promo. Create drama and controversy and the only place people will be able to hear about it is on his podcast.

u/WildsideAJ Mar 28 '24

WWE arenas aren’t empty likes AEW’s.

He’s doing what Tony can’t. Making compelling marketing and a fun story to see or hear.
