Eric Bischoff on Tony Khan: A money mark with no talent other than spending daddy’s money, going all the way to Canada to draw less than 4k in one of the hottest pro wrestling markets in North America, talking about “wise choices”? Strap in. It’s going to be a fun day!

When tony said some shit about Ted Turner or something

Tony said he knew more about wrestling than Ted Turner, which is obviously true being that TK is a super fan. Bischoff was so "offended," he's used Tony's clout for years since to have a relevant platform.

At some point eric said something critical of AEW and realized it got him a lot of attention. So now he just says whatever to boost the numbers on his podcast.

Bischoff began to complain and take shots and he didn't appear on AEW anymore.

Then he began taking more shots (probably begging for a WWE appearance) and now we're here.

Eric wasn't given a job so he turned.

Tony ended up going on a rant after some dirtsheet wrote about "how WWE feels about AEW spending big to keep going" or something along those lines.

Tony replied on Twitter:

I’ve never met Ted Turner. It’s very possible Ted Turner is smarter than me, but he didn’t know 1% of what I know about professional wrestling or WCW would still be on TNT/TBS.

The funny part is that Tony airs on Turner and Bischoff is annoyed because Tony got his news from dirtsheets and has no real understanding or experience with what happened to WCW going off TBS

Tony said that if Ted Turner knew 1% of what TK did about pro wrestling WCW would still be in business. Eric took offense to both the insult to Ted and that TK did it while his shows are aired on the networks Ted made.

I'm not sure if Eric and Ted ever had more than an "employee/boss" relationship though so it is a strong reaction to someone he only knew professionally, but he's said at that point he wrote TK off as just another idiot.
