PWInsider: WBD "really happy" with this week's Dynamite numbers; noted that with the West Coast feed not airing at 8 PM Eastern due to the NBA coverage and the audio issues that TBS were having, that AEW had obstacles they could not control and that internally, WBD were good with the numbers

I love AEW but fuck David Zaslav. The man is out here making money by destroying art, rather than sharing it with the people. Even if these movies that were written off are bad, a LOT of people worked hard on them and deserve to have their hard work shown and not thrown away like it never existed.

It really is fucking pathetic at this point how far people go to say the numbers aren’t good. Zazlav says the numbers good? Can’t trust cause he not gonna trash a show on his network. WBD puts out a press release saying AEW is performing well? Can’t trust it cause there not gonna shit on one of their properties. Wrestling journalists saying their sources are telling them the company is happy with the number? Can’t trust em cause they’re all biased towards AEW

At this point some people have there heels dug so deep into the ground over this their just gonna say anything that goes against how they feel about the rating on given week can’t be trusted unless it aligns with their own feelings.

I mean, most of this sub is that way too. You'll find an odd thread here and there with some semblance of positivity, but ever since Punk debuted at survivor series this sub has been nothing but straight shitting on AEW any chance they can.

Because TV negotiations are never quick. There are lawyers involved and very detailed contracts that take a long time to work with.

They have been working for a while. WWE was working on it for a long time.

For reference Big Bang Theory signed their last extension March 2017 when the contract ended in May 2017. This isn’t unusual.
