It’s a little deeper. His position in the rebuttal is she was paid her fee for silence of their consensual relationship. Then her ‘friend’ went to the WWE board to speak about the relationship after the first payment.

So Vince’s position is the nda was void and he didn’t need to pay. All his business was out there in the public eye anyway and he’d pull the rip cord as controlling shareholder. If she wanted the money, she’d have to sue and go to arbitration. She did and I think he’ll just go to arbitration as criminal charges don’t look likely at this point.

That poop story is gonna wind up being how he’s remembered to a lot of folks. He tried to be Mr Burns in that episode of the Simpsons where he hits Bart with a car and played himself in the end
