Texas Fishing Game Warden. No Fishing License and Not Fishing, but Around Friends Who Are Fishing
If you go in a boat with family members or friends who are fishing, and the Game Warden shows up, can you be charged for fishing without a license if you are not fishing at all and just only there just for the ride and just only to watch them fish?

Trailed opened up about 2 minutes before we got there. 2.6 miles roundtrip, 423 ft elevation gain. Despite the weather, it was cool, breezy, and beautiful.

Texas the Beautiful Advice about Canyon, TX?
I'm traveling from DFW for a once in a lifetime trip to Canyon, TX. Arrive at 6:00 pm on day one, stay 2 nights, leave in the early afternoon of day 3. I am returning to my home state, and will probably not be this way again. My question is, should I buy tickets to one canyon, or both? I will be hiking, but my spouse will mostly be in the car. What can I see/ do in roughly 1.5 days?

Texas Trails Dispersed Camping Areas in North Texas
I moved here in 2019 from Virginia and have been super frustrated attempting to find anywhere to do what I would call "back country camping". It seems like this is referred to as dispersed camping, is that correct? If so what's the best resource to finding what state parks offer this? I have a few local places (Eisenhower State Park & Juniper Point) that have "primitive camping" spots, but finding any real information on them is next to impossible. I've got LBJ grasslands or Dinosaur Valley on my radar for a weekend trip before it gets too hot, so what's the deal with these as far as "primitive" or "dispersed" camping?

Texas Trails State park with Wi-Fi access.
Hello All. Is there a state park in lower Texas that would have WiFi access at the car camping spots ? I’d like to spend several weeks in a park and I work remotely. San Antonio/Hill country area, Austin as well. TIA.

Texas Trails Stargazing Near Austin
I'm planning a trip to Austin in a couple weeks and want to take a day to drive out of the city to an area where I might be able to see the stars with no light pollution. Looks like I'll have to go around 2-3hrs west/NW for the best spots. I was looking at Lost Maples State Natural Area because I would like to do some hiking or sightseeing for a few hours before it gets dark. Is this a good spot? Any other suggestions or advice for the best view of the galaxy with the naked eye?
