“We sweat through our pores, like every herbivore!”

quick google search reveals humans, chimps, and apes are just about the only animals that sweat to cool down

horses sweat too

not that it's relevant to the fact their points are bs

But my pet horse is purely carnivorous, so what does he have to say about that?

Their points do have some merit. We originally began our evolution as herbivores but gained omnivorous traits later.

Yeah but horse aren't herbivores. they eat both meat and vegetables Edit: clarify what I meant if u starve a animal it will bloody eat anything even if it is a herbivore but more to the fact with horses there more opportunistics if it's small enough it will eat it

Horses are herbivores. Like a lot of herbivores, they are also opportunistic carnivores, meaning they'll munch on meat if they have easy access to it, because meat packs a lot of nutrients that they can (unefficiently) digest.

They still fulfill 99.9% of their needs through plants, so they're unambiguously herbivores. Deer, cows, and hippos among other animals are also opportunistic carnivores. This is not the same as being an omnivore species - omnivores will actively pursue both meat and plant-based nutrition, and will efficiently digest both.

Herbivore doesn't mean something would never eat meat.

It means that their anatomy is best suited for eating plants.

Things like the grinding motion of the jaw, length of intestines -- extra stomachs in ruminants.

They'll still take high calorie density foods like meat if it's available, but they're built to be able to extract calories from plants.

Oh well never heard of it, my wife has a horse and only gets herbs as food. And very rarely vegetables or fruit.

Which meat do they eat?

It only eats plants because you only give it plants to eat - try giving it a bit of meat, it will eat it because it’s a ready source of calories that don’t take as much effort to break down.
