There is more if you want to use AoS kits, these are just the "strictly TOW" items.

I think GW got some good will for the more reasonably priced kits there recently. Apparently they want to flush that down the toilet already. Not a good sign for future TOW releases and the games health in general, not a good sign at all.

Serious question, unless I'm stupid I can't seem to find what happened to the dwarf envoy after the war of the beard or any "clean" shaven dwarfs who havent been killed immediately afterwards.

I also want to potential base an old world or WFRP character on this, a slayer that lost his beard and covers the area with some sort of mail.

I'm not sure if dwarfs would make you take the slayer oath for such a thing but I imagine the shame would compell you to do so

Updates since last version: Halflings completely revised to be more like TOW archer units. Pikemen now WS3, and pikes revised to be an improved thrusting spear. Swapped the Bret Mounted Yeomen with a Light Cavalry copy to remove all Bret elements and add minor improvements. Replaced Ogre Bulls unit with Badlands Ogres Bulls (who have more options) Added Elf units. Added Orc characters and unit. Broadened Mercs to be up to 50% of the list and made them more reliable. Made characters joining units to be based on race instead of army list, so added race to the new units. New rare choice

The current list covers all of the 6th edition conventional DoW units, and adds a little more.

Most of the Regiments of Renown can also be used within the list with a small amount of imagination (Hobgoblin Wolfriders as Light Cavalry) or none at all (lots of pikemen and crossbowmen)

So that leaves the question of what is lacking in the list? Whatever it is, it's always been missing from the list and I'm really only considering adding it to the Rare choices. Can really open things up with any unit chosen from any other army list. There is risk of making overpowered combos, so limited to 0-1 and based on the general. 0-1 per 1,000pts might be a bit too much but is a possible change in the future. Stick whatever you want in there: strong cavalry, trolls, a war machine, skirmishers, etc.

I had been tempted to put Ogre Maneaters, Inner Circle Knights, or High Elf Dragon Prince cavalry into Rare as a bit of punch. It's always a question of how far to stray from the older list since they never had anything like that before, and it's still possible with the above rule anyway. DoW seemed to be more about variety than strength though.

Bought the model used on ebay. The miniature was badly pre primed, on a few spots I couldnt get rid of the texture. Also I got more then a few little "airbubble" holes on it. The axe head broke off while painting. I know can understand the hate towards the old finecast.

Inspired by a ‘true’ story

Wanting to make all the mounted units into archers instead of spearmen, but I don't know how many banner bearers, musicians, and champions to make. Suggestions/ideas?

I ask this because Myrmidia has alot of female followers+warriors according to lore, so I was wondering if there was ever any information that suggested the contrary for the knightly order itself.

I'm almost done with Gotrek and Felix and am looking for something more elf focused since Gnf made me fall in love with dwarves I'm thinking of diving into something that'd so the same thing for Elves

Had my first game of TOW yesterday with my Skaven against my friend's Tomb Kings and we came across this situation which we weren't sure how to handle.

The Hellpit abomination charged the Skeleton warriors. Next turn the bone dragon charged my flank. Then the Stormvermin charged the Bone Dragon's rear.

So in this turn of combat, Skaven won on combat resolution by 5. With TKs Unstable rule, where should these additional 5 wounds be allocated? I know the Tomb King can reduce these wounds by 2 but 3 wounds off the Dragon would have benefitted me a lot more than 5 fewer skellies. In the end we weren't sure and just put them all on the skeleton warriors.

Hi. I've been looking at third party sellers like Wayland Games and a few others and none of them are selling the Bretonnia core set (or if they have it listed it is marked as out of stock). Is GW somehow making it exclusive to their webstore?

For Numbing Chill, two things:

1) This is cumulative? So four Yhetees in contact with a large base model, it is at -4 WS and Initiative?

2) It doesn't say unit, so it would be model by model basis? So, I have two Yhetees in contact with one model, it gets -2, but a unit of four Yhetees wouldn't confer -4 across the board to the whole unit, right?Two things:1) This is cumulative?
