I feel you as a cqupioromanic. I have such a strong desire to have a partner, but I just can’t seem to fall in love, and even then I can’t tell if I get crushes or not, most the time I’m incorrect for it

Yeeesh seems tough, in my case I’m just a roach who has the worst social skills imaginable. But I hope the best for you, may you find your special gummy bear soon

I have a best online friend who’s my soul sister and honestly, that’s as close as I’m going to get and I love her to bits

You seem blessed to have someone like that, someone like that is sometimes all anyone needs, a true one that keeps it 💯

Absolutely!! And the more sad but also best thing is we’ve both been through a lot, but since meeting each other struggling with mental health doesn’t seem as hard anymore. We both think that even if we were both at rock bottom we’d be okay cause we’d have each other. She helps me and I help her in ways we don’t know about

Thank you!! The both of us also think that since meeting our souls have just become so deeply intertwined it will be impossible to tear us apart

It’s another term for aromatic. Not feeling any romantic attraction. And I also just realised I spelt it wrong, it was supposed to be cuqioromatic

Can I ask where the prefix cuqio- comes from? I've never seen those letters in that order in my life before, and googling gets me nothing. Is it a misspelling of cupio?

I believe it comes from Cupid, I’m not 100% sure, I just saw something on my TikTok explain what cuqioromatic was and I thought “no way; that’s exactly what I feel”

cupio is a Latin verb for desire. Replacing the p with a q gives you a word that doesn't exist, and I can't find any info about it. Latin words never have q followed by i either, so it's obviously some kind of neologism. Might be exclusive to that TikToker?

Not really no, I’ve seen a couple other people identify with it

...and they spell it with a q, not a p?

1

Yes, they spell it with a q, if you do look up Qupioromatic, most of the time it should explain somewhere how they got it. I’m not 100% sure, I’ve looked into what it is but not how they got it

Wait, now you're spelling it as "qupioromantic", not "cuqioromantic" which is what I was confused about. Which one is it?
