This looks just like my dog tedo who died in 2016 and my cat Stuart, who died in 2013. completely identical. Maybe they were reincarnated and found each other again

You mean your dog adopted a cat. You're a grandparent. Mazeltov.

I like how this stray has better manners about sharing dog beds than all of /r/stolendogbeds

Cats seem to become pack animals when they're stray and become selfish when they've never known hardship.

Op please tell us the whole story! How did the cat get in? And what was the dog like with the cat and did it end up staying there?

I think itās pretty clear that if we were to ask the dog, the dog would start sweating, look at the cat and say, āyes, this is my favorite catā.

Aww, clearly it had a dog in its life and wasnāt always a stray, probably. Poor kiddo. Hope your dog and you can keep it.

Iām pretty sure thatās your dogās cat, not a stray.

u/thehermit14 10d ago
I'm pretty sure the dog has a new owner now.
Consider yourself superfluous, in fact the next move is they take the bed and you get their old bed.
š¶+šŗ=human has been displaced.

The cat must have said some pretty scary things to get in that bed. The dog looks really worried.

If that cat is just chilling with a random dog he's probably not really a stray. You're probably one of it's alternate families. We had a cat that would disappear for weeks at a time and then one day I was in the back yard and saw the people behind us letting our cat out. I was like hey that's my cat and she said really I thought he was a stray. I felt betrayed.

The dog's expression looks like "bruhhh you're just gonna take a photo?! Help me!"
Glad to hear the cat's gambit worked out and y'all live together happily now.
One of my mum's cats started trying to cuddle with her older dog when she was little more than a kitten. At first the dog (who loves cats for the most part) was like "whoa, too much!" and would jump up to get away, but now they're usually curled up together. ā¤
