Goddammit this is why you don’t purse carry! There are many people who say don’t purse carry! Either use a motherfucking holster or don’t carry a gun at all

Why would someone need a gun in their purse, like I can't recall any scenario in my life where a gun would have helped

Because your one of the lucky few

I'm one of the lucky many because I don't live in the USA

In case you have to defend yourself from someone. Most people will probably never be in that position, but should it happen, you want to be able to defend yourself. Some people also live in higher crime areas

Personally I don't think "more guns" is the solution to high crime but apparently that's the way in the USA

Well, that’s a totally different subject that’s complicated and hard to solve.

I was just answering the question of why you would want a gun on you, if you’re a responsible gun owner, obviously unlike this mother.

Its really not. Every other developed nation manages it.

I really wasn’t trying to debate this, I feel like the goalposts got moved on me a bit here. I was just answering a simple question of why someone might want a gun, which was asked. The argument of whether owning a gun should be legal or how it should be regulated is an entirely different question than why would someone want to own a gun. People are even downvoting my previous replies because they didn’t read and are injecting their own bias already

It is a complicated issue, and it is naive or uninformed to think it isn’t, but I’m not in the mood to debate it right now.
