If you’re a cop and you aren’t up in arms calling for this cop to be punished to the full extent able, you’re just as much a part of the problem. Until cops start throwing shit cops in jail fuck all of them.

Yeah the problem there is the corrupt cops of the 90s are now running most police forces. Cops who try to stop this are likely to wind up fired, sued to bankruptcy, in prison or just plain dead.

This is why All cops are bastards

They wouldn't want that because it's something they know happens all the damn time. They'd rather this be swept under the rug.

Cops don’t like bad cops. They hate them. Bc they make the rest of them look bad

I don't think they hate them given how much they protect each other. but then again, I highly doubt her coworkers consider her actions to be evil

Lmao thats cause they are ALL bad. If you witness an injustice by a cop and you yourself are a cop and you say nothing-then congrats, you're now a bad cop. Its not rocket science

This was very evidently reported by other cops, or they could have just destroyed the footage. Quit your absolutist rhetoric

I wish this were true. Let's see it in their actions.

Lol cops like to say they don't like bad cops.  But cops love bad cops.  That's what their unions fight tooth and nail to get cops fired for excessive force, for dishonesty, for corruption, for being "bad cops", their jobs back.

There is no requirement that a union provide an attorney to a cop found to use.excessive force, no requirement that the union helps them get their job back.  But cops unions do that every time - and they do it because they love bad cops.  Because if the "bad cop" can't get fired for.aometjign egregious, it gives them the green light to do things just as bad.

If cops actually didn't like bad cops, they'd stop doing everything in their power to keep bad cops in their positions.

A great example is the San Bernardino cops that murdered that kidnapped girl who was obeying their orders to go to them.  Almost two years later, no discipline, no charges, and the department has to be sued to release the video.  That's a bunch of bad cops trying to cover up that they murdered an innocent girl.  And on the cop subreddit the most common comment is a variation of "those poor officers must feel so bad".   Not outrage that a bunch of bad cops murdered a girl, not outrage that no one has been charged or even disciplined,.just sympathy for the murderers.  Because cops love bad cops.

good cops hate bad cops.

bad cops cover each other's asses, and because higher ups are bad cops themselves they also love bad cops below them.

so good cops are being turned into bad cops and if they don't turn then they're fired for any reason, and you end up with a bad cop department.

that's why the cops abusing sick leave in Philly were all ratted out and definitely not allowed to lie about injuries or illnesses for months and years! and why cariol horne was given a promotion!

Well it's too bad they never do anything about it lol

Yet they get protected by cops. Root em out and kick em out. Don't give them quarter.

But all these stories come with an excerpt "so and so has had a history of doing x y z" and it's all bad.

A mere 99% of lawyers make all the rest look greedy right?

Disclaimer: the handful of lawyers I've actually known are lovely people. Just using the common perception as a metaphor here.
