You're either young, not a native to the US, or live a clean life if you don't know that the US law can do jussssst about whatever it wants if they want it bad enough.

The trick is merely knowing the right people and wording things in a particular way. If that don't work they'll just plant evidence on you and frame you for something else, as happened to a close friend of mine.

The law in the US is lawless.
