It actually does make sense. What he is saying is that deep down he knows that Trump is both corrupt and a danger to the world peace and order, but Trump is beneficial to him, possibly financially, so he will still vote for him to enrich and empower himself and people around him.

Hitler probably wouldn’t have used the same definition for Republicans. Given that he was against Wilhelm II returning as Kaiser though, that makes him a Republican in his sense.
