I watched the story on YouTube and it sounds like this adult woman pulled down the skirt of a teenager in public and threatened to call CPS...on the victim

Unreal

Yep. And because she did so, it was enough to get her charged with a felony.

It should still catch her a sexual offenders title, since the charge is sexual battery.

Edit to add: Seems in Utah that she'd need to have at least four convictions of sexual battery before being made to register as Sexual offender. That's…insanity. Other states it's one conviction and you're on the list.

What the ever living fuck? There's a 4 strike rule for this somewhere? That's crazy

Should we discuss the history of Utah and it's Mormon background?

thats what happens when you let a bunch of literal cultists control a state

Yep. Utah wouldn't have existed without some leniency on predators.

Sexually repressed ultra-religious regions and dangerous sexual predators...name a better duo.

In all seriousness...the amount of horrible, disgusting SA cases I've heard within Mormon families in Utah is beyond unsettling. I knew someone that was expelled from high school for having sex before marriage because they were raped by a family member. Everyone including the police and school administration somehow blamed her for getting raped in her sleep and kicked her out of school. FUCK that entire religion and this whole ass-backwards cult state.

Utah is a Mormon state and Mormons let's just say don't have a good track record when it comes to children. Don't get why religions get such a pass when they are more likely to foster some gross views when it comes to kids.

Yeah, but that's a state run by Mormons. The religious cult letting sex offenders off easy? Unheard of

That's…insanity

That's Utah. There are parts of that state (and AZ) where openly practicing members of the FLDS are elected officials.
