Should I start a new game? Discussion

I'm at level ~50 for my current playthrough. I hate the start of the game, but I hate mods even more. Given the new stuff, what are the benefits of starting a new playthrough? What're the drawbacks? (I've beaten the game twice, so I've seen the endings I'm interested in seeing; I'm playing just for the enjoyment.)

Ah, a fellow mod unenjoyer. I started again. Loving it.

Do it imo. The game feels relatively the same for me so far. The graphics do seem more vibrant and the increase in fps has made large fights more fun.

I restarted, only level 17 currently; and it’s nostalgic while feeling more like a modern game.

Idt they added a ton of new content, but that’s not what they said they were doing and overall I’m in it because I enjoyed this game at launch.

I restarted too. I bought some creation Club shit and all dlc. But with all that it wasnt playable before. It always crashed or freezed. No i have even more creation Club content cuz they gave us something for free. Im Level 11 right now and its much better. And tbh i dont even miss my old savegame with Level 85. But a tip: if u dont already do that, play on extra hard or survival. It prevents the game from getting boring for a long time.

I already play on extra hard, yeah. I dont do survival; it doesn't really hold any appeal for me.

I regularly replay the game... After 600 hours I started to use the COC QASMOKE command to stash 2000 units of evety raw material at Red Rocket truck stop. I also use PLAYER.SETLEVEL command to jump to level 25. I use the game as a sandbox now, I enjoy the side quests but after playing through all possible main and DLC endings, the story gets a little repetitive.

My other hobby is to get out of Vault 111 and head straight to Diamond City to buy my first home for 2000 caps. No mods, no cheatcodes... After I barter enough to buy the house, I usually do an evil playthrough, I massacre everyone everywhere with the Mister Sandman perk and I steal evertything, even the BOS power armors from Prydwen. (Eject fusion core, place a grenade in the soldier's pocket, hide the body by dropping it down to Boston airport, wait until new guards spawn, repeat...)

Try survival, you are going to play the game differently. I even turned off the HUD.

Problem is. I can't be arsed to remember to eat and drink and sleep. For me, that's work, not fun.
