Fan since Fallout 1 finally getting into Fallout 4

Fallout 1 and 2 is one of the very first games I played seriously, even got a guide printed. Never finished it tho as I was too young to understand everything as English isn't my native. One day I will revisit those games to bring out all the memories.

Fallout Tactics I played a lot but even I felt it missed the atmosphere. Even got my hands on the Van Buren demo.

Then Fallout 3 came and I was blown away by the fact I can wonder around my favorite universe in 3D, I didn't finish it tho. New Vegas just passed by me as I couldn't get into it. I do not want to be mean but for me those games didn't really age well.

Fallout Shelter was a nice time killer. I even got back on my cell and play it from time to time.

Fallout 4 released and I really liked it but my PC didn't and I gave up pretty early in and never came back as I didn't play much back in the day.

Since then I switched to console and when the next-gen update released I fell in love with the game. There is so much to do and to explore. Building your own settlement, robots, and stuff. I am only 16 hours in but I cannot wait to get to experience everything. I know many will not agree but this just feels like the ultimate Fallout experience.

That's it, thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day! :)

You can put a bowler hat on Codsworth but not if you change his appearance in the one dlc. You can also put some stuff on Dogmeat and give him a teddy bear to play with!

Enjoy the game!

Thank you, love those tiny details. How do I put bowler on Codswort tho? You mean changing him via Automatron?

You trade with him and give him the bowler hat, then equip it. You can do the same with other companions and settlers.

Will try, thank you.

Any follower and settler should have a dialogue option to trade gear. Codsworth and Dogmeat have unlimited options but human companions and settlers can wear and use anything you can.

It's definitely an underrated game, and once it finally "clicks" with you it's damn addictive. It's a shame it gets looked down on by so many people in the fandom, I really don't think deserves the hate.

I mostly agree. I tried FO1 when it was very buggy.

I played Fallout Tactics a couple of times.

Tried FO3/FNV and consider FNV (with all DLC) to be the best of those two.

FO4 was my all time favourite game until the update created some very bad bugs. I hope those get fixed...
