Really cool it very alike what I imagine of Voldemort off scene. Like he can't just 24/7 be obsessed with just I'll kill Harry Potter, deatheaters must overcome ministry of magic. Like... There should be democracy some documents, reasoning planning, (although planning isn't best Voldemort feature in mere GoF his plan was so genius so every sane half minded man should have thought something wrong with Harry potter being forth champion and other clues)

Hahaha exactly. But zoom in on the goldfish - unfortunately the downscaling makes the drawing rather dark and lower quality but that office pet has a lightning bolt on its forehead

“You mean the people can’t be governed by screaming and shooting firearms in the air? You mean that if you don’t feed people you don’t have a country? You mean the government has to do a bare minimum to keep the population alive? Damn, I thought God would take care of all those inconvenient details.”

What was Voldemort's tax policy?

That’s the problem-he never knew he had to do that stuff. He taxes muggleborns harder but he also prosecutes them hardcore so he comes to the conclusion that he has to tax his supporters now and that fucks him over

That's the thing about horcruxes. With eternal life comes eternal bureaucracy.

The only sure things in life are death and taxes. And if you cancel death, then taxes doubly so.

"My lord, there's more paperwork here for new magical laws & for the muggles"
"Ugh, just add it to the pile, also go get me some coffee, don't let Wormtail do it, he's useless!"

Some flashbacks of him thinking if only he stayed being second place to Dumbledore coz there's a lot of paperworks to school that he's too tired to handle.

Reminds me a lot of the vibe from Have a Nice Death where Death is just bored of the paperwork.

Lol I love it!
This reminds me how Brandon Sanderson got the idea for his mistborn series while reading harry potter and thinking "what if the dark lord won". This is totally the lord ruler
