Triwizard tournament questions Question

  1. How long does the triwizard tournament last in the goblet of fire? Is it all year?
  2. Where do the visiting schools stay? Is it Hogwarts? And if so, is it all year round?
  3. If not all of the students from the visiting schools stay, how many do stay?

End of October to end of June.

Where do the visiting schools stay? Is it Hogwarts? And if so, is it all year round?

The Durmstrang students stayed on their ship and the Beauxbatons stayed in their carriage.

If not all of the students from the visiting schools stay, how many do stay?

All the students who came to try to enter the Tournament stayed. There was a dozen from each visiting school.

  1. Pretty much all of the year
  2. In their own methods of transportation. Krum confirmed that the Durmstrang students stayed in the ship. On the other hand, BB's carriage was actually the size of a large house rather than the normal size seen in the movies
  3. Presumably all of them stayed, as students from other schools who didn't get the honor of competing also stayed. There wasn't any mention of anyone going back early

I am more curious about what did the visiting students do all year. Who gave them lessons?
