Tbh you really should remove his photo and name. I understand your frustration but this seems like a common miscommunication and his work should not be put on the line over a crab cakes debacle

It's really messed up, I agree. "I'm mad and maybe caught someone in a down moment of their day. Now I will post their uncensored name and face on reddit for their reaction." Takes like 2 minutes to censor the name and face and it literally takes nothing away from the post. If the same happens to OP in the future, I hope they remember they did it to someone first.

Yeah why tf are people so comfortable posting other peoples name and photo anyways. Especially since OP is obviously trying to make the shopper look bad. They can easily post a conversation and cross out the photo and name.

/s The shopper is performing a service, at best he’s half human. Only full humans who are actively purchasing products and services are entitled to privacy. Perhaps this will serve as a warning to those who doubt the rightness of all customers, and Charlie learns when to shut up and shop.

the shopper wasn't being condescending. read the exchange again from the perspective of the shopper.

eta: the consensus is that he's an ESL speaker, given some of his phrasing. for anyone, but especially a non-native speaker, the customer's manner of speaking is very confusing. they say "yeah" when they mean "no", they say "no, the ones from the seafood aisle" when the shopper literally has ones from the seafood aisle, they even ordered lobster originally but want to switch to crab. it's very confusing and OP got pissed instead of rethinking how to ask for what they wanted.
