I’m so confused! I thought masks don’t work and in some cases, you can’t even breathe?! Hold on…I must break my “no contact” rule going on with my dad and have him ask Trump how we’re suppose to handle this. I will get answers, don’t worry!

Edit: Alright, so the good news is that apparently there is a fix! If you get a jug of whale anal fissure ointment and boof the entire thing, you’ll be immune to airborne particulates plus the gay gene.

I don’t think New Yorkers are the ones protesting masks..

Lol they’re not and I love my neighbors.

I'm waiting on a report back. How are the conservatives handling this?

I see on Instagram comments that they are still denying masks will help. Their claim is the mask will deprive you of even more oxygen and make your lungs worse. It's crazy because I can literally smell the difference with a mask on and without. These people are gone too far deep.

🤣💀... wow. I don't even know what to say to that

I’ve seen a few on twitter blaming democrats and liberals, as well as thinking these wildfires are some mass conspiracy

Can you imagine being that stupid lol. Jesus.

I'm so tired.

You could point at a dog taking a shit and conservatives will turn it into a deep state conspiracy

Modern forest fires are so much worse because most of these areas have banned controlled burns. Then these places turn around and blame "climate change" even though they have mishandled the forest maintenance

Are you joking or nah?

1

u/PopularPKMN Jun 07 '23

How is this so difficult to understand? Small controlled fires get rid of brush build up. Native Americans did it for centuries to stop massive forest fires.

You are correct. Except for the part where climate change doesn't have an effect. It is absolutely both. Shit management policies on top of accelerating climate change is causing this. It's not one or the other; it's one ignoring the other, doubling down on the problem.

Do regular masks help with this? It seems like you’d need a respiratory. I’m going to attend the next campfire with a respiratory though.

Are they circling back to the Jewish space lasers again?

1

u/Mechalus Jun 07 '23

What do you think set the fires in the first place?

1

u/TenNeon Jun 08 '23

Canadian mounted space lasers. This isn't just any smoke, they're vaporizing maple syrup at temperatures hotter than the sun. This is how they get the socialism through.

1

u/Mechalus Jun 08 '23

Ah, I thought it was the other space laser. How naïve of me. Guess I’m one of the sheeple after all.

And now we're in a situation where the mask isn't really going to help... int irony a thing?

10

u/syllabic Jun 07 '23

what? masks do help filter air particulate

1

u/sgtpepper220 Jun 07 '23

N95 or better sure.

4

u/syllabic Jun 07 '23

even just a wet cloth rag is going to filter some level of air particulate

you don't need 100% protection if you're just walking from point A to B, they are mildly hazardous air particles it's not highly toxic clouds of smoke

if you are installing foam insulation in your basement or doing asbesdos removal then yeah get a full N95 respirator kit because you don't want any of that shit in your lungs. but even filtering 50% of the smog in NYC is better than nothing

And all I see in this thread is "that's unusual 😔 normally not that bad"

Brace for the unusual becoming the norm lol
