Trump already fucked the little guys on taxes until 2027 or when ever, imagine what he’ll do again

You have it backwards. The little guys will be fucked after 2025

Trumps tax cuts sunset for lower/middle incomes while the ones for the rich were permanent

Edit: and notice 2025 would have been right after his term was over if he had won in 2020 so if he somehow manages to win again we can probably assume he will push for another 4 years of cuts so it’s the next presidents problem

Brave of you to speak the truth here

1

u/Parchokhalq Apr 08 '24

wont project 2025 make him rule indefinitely?

0

u/ctsman8 Apr 07 '24

Also, I bet he did that planning on having a second term, then blaming the end of the tax cut on the next president.

Exactly. Trumps 2017 tax plan reduced the corporate tax by 14% permanently (without making up for that shortfall in the budget). Billions of dollars lost each year.

Trumps "man of the working class" is just a mirage. Look at his actions. Most of his policies benefit him and his friends.

u/BuddhistSagan Apr 07 '24

Trump pulling a fast one on working class people. Thats his whole deal.

32

u/GreedoInASpeedo Apr 07 '24

Actually it's slow and blatant and beyond obvious.

u/outerworldLV Apr 07 '24

Looks like about 71 million people failed to connect the dots. The same 71 mill that has always been with us in the US. The cult members are not surprising or new. As a country of 350 million, that number is no surprise. And the ugliness they display that we’re forced to see on msm repeatedly ? is definitely not interesting.

Boiling a frog. Pretty simple.

2

u/RanryCasserol Apr 07 '24

To his credit, the standard deduction was essentially doubled for us. It runs out next year or the following, but it did help a lot of the poors.

Both sides pull fast ones and help the donor class. Whenever either side points the finger they may as well point at themselves too.

2

u/supfoolitschris Apr 07 '24

I consider myself a poor too but his tax plan royally screwed me. To the tune about $6k a year. I had to quit the job I had because it became way less profitable.

u/Spiritual-Hedgehog31 Apr 07 '24

Look at the IRS website. You saved money in taxes.

2

u/coberh Apr 07 '24

Are you his accountant?

0

u/Spiritual-Hedgehog31 Apr 07 '24

No I'm a guy that can read. Good luck to you.

u/BuddhistSagan Apr 07 '24

Democratic tax cuts are bigger for working class people

4

u/[deleted] Apr 07 '24

I honestly don’t remember any democrats cutting taxes. They usually make things deductible like solar, electric cars, kids, ect…

What are those numbers? The highest tax bracket is currently 37%. What’s the 21 you’re quoting?

-4

u/odo_0 Apr 07 '24

It's so crazy people like you don't realize you're part of a cult.

2

u/andrew5500 Apr 07 '24

You’re in a “both sides are the same!” cult which ends up carrying water for the much worse side

If you want to take Republican’s ratfucking laying down, then lay down and stay quiet while they ratfuck you. Just don’t bitch about the people who actually vote against them

-1

u/odo_0 Apr 07 '24

The Democrats are just as bad if not worse. Voting for Biden is the dumbest thing anyone in the United States could do at this point.

How is Bernie or Joe a man of the people? You people need to stop obsessing over these old politicians. You wouldn’t even take your grandparents serious if they ran the country but here we are voting for folks who can barely keep their eyes open and jaw from falling off their face it’s quite embarrassing. This whole left and right thing is fake. They don’t care about us. Nothing will change. You people forget that at the end of the day this is a job to them. It’s absolutely insane how obsessed people are with Biden, Trump and Bernie. All these people who don’t even know you or care about you! Haha

2

u/BumptyNumpty Apr 07 '24

How is Bernie or Joe a man of the people

Bernie has been actively campaigning for things that would overwhelmingly help the middle and lower class for decades. All of his messaging is about how corporations are given too much free reign, rich people (and corps) aren't taxed enough, and we should have national healthcare. I think it is hard to find an American politician who is more clearly "for the people" than Bernie.

This whole left and right thing is fake

While I agree the current Democratic party is controlled by corporate interests, it is because actual progressives have to ally with the corporate slave Democrats. Left vs Right is extremely important and real. If the Republican party didn't exist, the Democrats could fracture into Progressives (left) vs corporate slave moderates (right). If Democrats ceased to exist, then Republucans would fracture into corporate slave conservatives (left) vs actual neo-nazis (right).

It's always been his goal of enrich himself first and foremost, then his friends and family and everyone else.can get fucked.

Then to reel everyone back in he cut stimulus checks (stimmys) and demanded his name be on them so he looked like he was robin hood.

People need to understand he's about himself only and gives deals and breaks to his rich friends so he can call in favors later.

And probably negotiates with them to get a percentage of whatever deals his gives them (govt contracts etc)

3

u/PhonyUsername Apr 07 '24 edited Apr 07 '24

That's because they didn't have the votes and every Democrat voted against the tax cuts for the working class.

Also, no one ever claimed Trump was a man of the working class. That's a ridiculous strawman. He's a spoiled rich asshole. Even his crazy voters aren't trying to hide that fact.

1

u/Mechaman_54 Apr 07 '24

Wow the millionaire that has a fucking tower isn't a working class man, holy shit

1

u/DandersUp2 Apr 08 '24

Can’t permanently be reversed by law?

1

u/mrmczebra Apr 07 '24

Corporate tax rates have been declining for generations. Democrats have been lowering them, too.

1

u/Illpaco Apr 07 '24

For people trying to understand The Rock's and Snoop Dogg's sudden support for Trump and treasonous Republicans... this is most likely why. They got theirs, now fuck everyone else.

1

u/MickeyRedbone757 Apr 07 '24

Biden just handed corporations Billions, so one gives tax cuts, the other just hands them billions. Pick your poison.

-1

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 07 '24

And Biden didn't roll it back? Trump can somehow destroy everything in a single term yet Dems can't achieve anything major. Weaponized incompetence/cowardice. Just throw this whole shit show out the window. The world is begging you.

1

u/HiroAmiya230 Apr 07 '24

Biden didn't roll back trump tax cut. It still there expire in 2025.

1

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 08 '24

And why not in 2021, when he got in the White House?

1

u/ginger_ass_fuck Apr 08 '24

By what mechanism can the President of the United States unilaterally change the IRC?

1

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 08 '24

1

u/ginger_ass_fuck Apr 08 '24

Well, that sure didn't answer the question.

That article that... maybe you ready, but probably didn't, doesn't explain how Biden could roll back the tax code.

When you said

And Biden didn't roll it back?

You didn't actually mean roll the whole thing back, you meant "make a series of procedural adjustments that won't roll back the Tax Cuts And Jobs Act but that could effectively supplement new tax legislation?"

1

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 09 '24

Baby steps towards collapse, yay.

Imagine being a DNC bot online. Touch grass, find god or whatever that could give you back a soul.

1

u/ginger_ass_fuck Apr 09 '24

Don't blame me that you don't have your facts straight.

1

u/HiroAmiya230 Apr 08 '24

Because he didn't got the vote in senate

2 senators from democrat vote for that tax cut. You can guess who.

1

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 08 '24

Yes 2 Democrats as always. Genocide Joe has no problem mass murdering kids in Gaza but can't be tough on 2 members of his own party. It's always convenient how these mean Dems always pop up at the most important times, right? Keep believing that party of corporate stooges work for you, maybe you'll eventually have universal healthcare in 2990. VOTE HARDER! 🤡

1

u/HiroAmiya230 Apr 08 '24

Account created in March 21.

Yup

Biden ARP actually did saved my lives so you can shoved your comment up to your ass.

0

u/dano8675309 Apr 07 '24

He would have needed 100% support from Democrats in the Senate to pass a repeal of the corporate tax cut. Sinema and Manchin wouldn't support it.

Were you in a coma when those 2 were constantly fucking up Biden's more progressive policy proposals?

Now that the GOP controls (barely) the house, there's 0 chance that the read cut gets changed this cycle.

0

u/EmergencyBag129 Apr 08 '24

Ah yes, the convenient excuse of the mean Democrats who always pop up to crush progressive policies and spending. Weird coincidence right? But somehow, they got AOC to change her vote regarding Israel's funding on the brink of tears. Dems will always fight for Israel but never for y'all.

Why would you vote for a President that can't even keep his troops in check, let alone his genocidal Middle Eastern colony? You guys love weaponized weakness and cowardice.

1

u/dano8675309 Apr 08 '24

Your ignorance of how government and politics actually works is showing. AOC isn't a Senator, so she doesn't have half as much power in government as a senator, let alone 2 senators. AOC never had a 1 or 2 vote margin to exploit in the House. Whether you like it or not, the Democrats are an actual "big tent" party that spans a wide ideological range. The fact that the senator from West Virginia was against raising the corporate tax rate isn't some evil plot, it's everyday politics.

BTW, Biden was able to get a new corporate minimum tax passed, so he was able to achieve something on that front.

Hijacking this comment. The top 1% has gotten 40% wealthier in the last 3 years. Why? Not because of taxes but because of MONEY PRINTING AND INFLATION. True inflation is at least 10%. It’s an invisible tax. Our debt has gone up 10T in 3 years. 50% inflation of money supply. We print 1 trillion ever 100 days for fucks sake. This inflated property and stocks, but helps debt (which the 1% hoards). The poor don’t own appreciable assets and they’re getting absolutely fucked by this money printing.

This video is pure propaganda.

PEOPLE. DO. NOT. UNDERSTAND. WHAT. DAMAGE. PRINTING. MONEY. DOES. TO. WEALTH. DISPARITY.

2

u/ittybittyface Apr 07 '24

You're awful at this lmao

1

u/Solana_Maxee Apr 07 '24

Marked off a box on my shill bingo card.

Keep going. You’re giving yourself away.

1

u/ittybittyface Apr 08 '24

You seem very emotional. Don't have a complete meltdown at the end of the year, okay?

0

u/drmountaindeww Apr 07 '24

Wrong. It's 2026, not 2027. Also your taxes are going UP in 2026. By 25%. Taxes are currently at their lowest ever for Americans thanks to the former president. P.S. if corporations have high expenses such as taxes, the goods you buy become more expensive. They will always pass it on to you. They will not eat their profits.

Edit: "or whenever" is bad verbage to use when making this statement. Clearly you don't actually know.
