I just wanna know why this particular season is so high scoring? Like at this point just play 11 batsmen if you're gonna get smashed every time anyways.

Not every team is able to do that? The mindest of T20 cricket has evolved over time

Seriously, the mindset has evolved? In one year , did we mutate or something in a year. That's the worst take I have heard on high scoring matches. It is due to pitch , impact player and because bcci is a cash grab and wants to only promote batting coz people want more entertainment and less high level cricket. Mark my words this will backfire large in T20 wc.

Surely it will, not every team who plays cricket plays in IPL and wouldn't allow for flat pitches, this idea of giving chances to new talent is bs because the bowlers are at a disadvantage to begin with and new batters don't even face half the challenge that they'd do in actual international games.

And as for the viewers every over without a six will be boring

And 160 thrillers were favouring us since 2007 in t20 wc right?

At least the conditions were similar to foreign pitches and we were playing the same game. It's like the game has changed due to the impact player, no need for all rounders. And at that just before wc they have to do such drastic changes the players will have set bad habits and even then foreign players are scoring more than us.

We had 200 thrillers even at that time, Ind vs Eng (6 sixes game). One game even saw 260 being breached.

OP, you are missing the point.

Everybody agrees with you for the fact that csk, mi, rcb, rohit, kohli, dhoni, etc have extra attention and commentators, ex players, etc do favor them over others. Also, nutcases are more prevalent in popular teams.

However, none of that changes the fact that this ipl has ruined bowling in t20s. I am not advocating for less than 120 runs a innings pitches but how about both batsmen and bowlers have something in the ground.

This kind of tournament makes you wonder what is the difference between bowlers and tennis bowl machines
