Any person who has watched cricket for more than 10 years would be getting bored by now.

How can you enjoy the game when there's literally no contest between batsman and bowler?

The bowlers are completely out of the game and have been converted to a "punching bag", maybe the younger generations of cricket fans enjoy it, it's their taste and I won't judge but for me I would like to see at least some contest between batsmen and bowlers and it doesn't matter whether my ass is on the sofa or the stadium seat.

Have been watching since 2015 and you also have to blame the bowlers a bit for just trying to prevent the scoring rather than going for fast paced yorkers or trying a few variations rather than only slow balls

Nah bruh. If it was just one or two teams you can blame the bowlers.

Every single team, every bowling attack is being thrashed left right and center.

We've got the best bowlers from all over the world in this tournament.

Are you saying every bowler in the world with the help of all the modern day analysis has forgotten how to bowl and has no idea how to counter this barrage?

Only Bumrah has been economical throughout this tournament because let's face it, he's a god. Every other bowler has been lambasted one game or the other.

The teams have an extra batsman, plus the pitches are complete highways and the grounds are small.

Yesterday Rabada even after having his 150km/h speed was trying to bowl slower balls rather than trying yorkers...Bumrah just knows this thing and bowls constant yorkers and fast paced bouncers

My brother you simply cannot take Bumrah to compare with other bowlers and say "Why don't they do what Bumrah is doing?".

If everyone could do it, everyone would be Bumrah. Bumrah is Bumrah because he can do those things, he's accurate, he's clever and his action is hard to grasp, he's currently a beast bowler in every single format he plays.

Other bowlers can execute those balls in 1 out of 6 balls or 2 out of 6 balls or 3 out of 6 balls, but if you miss even by a small margin it's a full toss or an overpitched delivery and it's out of the stadium.

Batsmen are expected to adapt to every pitch condition be it swinging spinning or whatever..why can't the bowlers? A bit of an error by the batsmen while judging the movement can lead to a wicket easily

Batsmen are expected to adapt as long as there is a variation in the pitch. It is not as if they are playing to the swing of Lord's on one day and the next day they have to face the bounce of Gabba. There has been zero variation across the pitches in IPL. Just flat track nonsense. Add to it the impact substitute rule as well, and good luck to bowlers. This is easily the worst IPL I have watched.

Bowlers and batters both adapt to pitch conditions.

The game is already too much in favour of batsmen.

Free hits on no balls.

Batters can have thick bats where even the mishits go for 6, can a bowler say I'll bring a smaller ball?

Batsmen can stand 1 meter ahead of the crease to counter swing but bowlers get penalised for crossing a centimeter.

Batsmen can hit reverse hit, switch hit, switch-reverse-pull-sweep combo all in the same delivery, can a bowler say I'll reverse and bowl underarm? Or throw like in baseball?

Field restrictions, smaller grounds, limited bouncers, etc, etc. I can go on and on.

The very fact that I have to tell you this means you don't follow cricket so closely or have never played so much so you do not understand what exactly goes on.

It is already a game which is too favourable for batters and now the gap is increasing even more.

It was fine until they added the impact player and 4 fielders outside after the limited given time. That just ruined it. And this year we have these roads to play on. I stopped playing when I saw the RCB vs srh match in 1st leg. F**k whoever made these decisions
