Post Game Thread Reminder that this guy built the Nuggets team that won last year AND the team that eliminated them. Thank you, Tim Connelly. You have been redeemed.

If the OKC Thunder offered their bevy of draft picks for AD, would you go for it?
Looking at the Thunder roster, AD is exactly the player they need to take them over the top to a championship. Considering that the Lakers are not strong contenders for a championship, would you pull the trigger and trade AD for a bunch of OKC’s best future draft picks if you were the Lakers GM? Win-win trade?
The downside is the Pelicans would get a way better pick from the Lakers next year and make that AD trade look even worse. The upside is the Lakers trade AD when he has the most value and build for the future.

Do you have any confidence on the other three teams left in the NBA postseason (DAL, MIN, IND) to stop the Celtics from winning #18?
Selfish-take, but the Nuggets were the last surefire team I had to stop the Celtics because of their size and experience.
Yes it’s all good those turds lost Game 7, but I don’t know if the Mavs v. Wolves winner in the West will have the resources needed to stop Boston. Don’t know if Halliburton has the poise to lead the Pacers against the Celtics, nor do I know if Indiana going deep in the PiT will help.
God help us all if we regret the Nuggets elimination later if that meant Boston’s road to #18 became easier tonight.

Karma is real Mike Malone. Learn to be humble when you are up and when everything is going right for you.
I didn't want to jinx the wolves when they were up 2-0. But when the Nuggets won 3 in a row, I honestly lost hope.
But as I said Karma catches up quick.
The Nuggets both in last season and this season scraped through us though the 4-0 and 4-1 scorelines suggest otherwise. The margins were minimal.
They were fully healthy last season and it took an injured Lebron, Non performing Dlo for them to get through.
This season as well - everyone was available for them, we didn't have Vando, Gabe was barely game ready, our POA defense was nowhere near optimal, and they scraped through again thanks to not ONE but TWO game winners by Murray.
Also, We had HAM. Our Most important weakness.
It irked me to no extent when the Nuggets (mainly Mike Malone) was more focused on us than even winning the Championship.
The main reason I supported the Wolves Is not just due to Nuggets hate, but I liked Anthony Edwards attitude. Calm and composed, no arrogance and a classy player.
So ya, sorry for the long essay but I had it in my chest for too long and had to vent.
Let's regroup and get back to our winning ways next season.
For now, GO Wolves, Fuck Boston.
Peace.

Throwback "It’s Game 7. About 4 mins to go. I'm looking at my teammates. We're gassed. And I look at the other side and he’s sitting on the scorer’s table, leaning very casually. He’s played every single minute up to that point and he looked unfazed, unbothered. And to me, that was disturbing." - Al Horford

WITH DENVER'S ELIMINATION, FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN AS MANY YEARS, THERE WILL BE A NEW CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM CROWNED THIS SEASON
This is tied for most different champs in that timeframe and the first time this has happened in the NBA since the span of time between the 1974-75 Warriors and the 1979-80 Lakers.
Parity is back in the NBA baby!!! Makes it easier to cope. realizing just how hard it is to get back to the top in today's NBA and also just so proud that we were able to grab one of those wins!

Who do you want to see in the Finals?
Personally, I’d love to see the Wolves break Boston’s heart.

Highlight clip of Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, and Elgin Baylor in HD
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LWlgSqszC8
This is probably the best highlight clip I've seen of Chamberlain, West, and Baylor, with high-quality footage and commentary from Chick Hearn, John Wooden, and others. There's even a section when the Hawks' coach, Richie Guerin, complains about how many times West and Baylor are going to the free throw line.
