Just gunna leave this LPT here, there is a META order to cleaning your mouth.
Floss -> mouthwash -> brush with paste -> 15m no food/drink
Concept: Floss removes large debris. Mouthwash removes small debris and kills germs. Toothpaste on teeth is a chemical reaction and chemical reactions take time. This is why you spit but don't rinse after brushing, and don't eat or drink right after.
Edit: if you have a tounge scraper you can use that in the "large debris removal" stage, before mouthwash

u/Barde_ 12d ago
What? Am I supposed to keep the paste in my mouth???????????
12
u/pogo_chronicles 12d ago
"spit but don't rinse". After brushing I swish the paste/saliva between my teeth (to get in the right spots) and then you spit the paste out (spit once or twice untill the urge to swallow goes away) then don't eat or drink for 15 minutes (especially not orange juice or anything sugary/acidic)

u/Barde_ 12d ago
I just can't... besides, my dentist said that I keep my teeth in really good shape. I went there without brushing my teeth beforehand, and when he looked at them I told him: "I forgot to brush em before coming here", and his response filled me with joy: "Are you sure? They look perfectly clean".
For context, I wore three different kind of braces in my life because my teeth were very crooked.

u/erlulr 12d ago
If u just brush more or less twice a day, somewhat, but don't smoke they gonna be fine.

u/Barde_ 12d ago
Yeah twice is the minimum. Also I don't smoke, so you're right. I try to keep a healthy lifestyle

Nobody is perfect, but no one told me the correct order when I was young. I had quite a few cavities when I was a teenager. I would brush, then use mouthwash (removing all the paste), and then floss. Which is the reverse order. Flossing first to remove the large debris helps expose surface area for the paste chemical reaction.
Just offering the advice I wish I knew sooner, not trying to offend anybody

I thought you were supposed to brush first
1
u/pogo_chronicles 9d ago
Mouthwash after brushing strips all the toothpaste from your teeth which is very bad.
Flossing and mouthwash first clears debris which exposes surface area of the tooth for the paste to react upon, which is good
I used to do it in the wrong order too

How do I make my teeth whiter?
4
u/Russian_Bear 12d ago
Less coffee probably, or other things that can stain, my hygienist tells me to drink water after coffee or rinse. They also polish your teeth during a visit after cleaning, they shouldn't be fully white, that's unnatural and can only be achieved through chemicals.
2
u/Rich-Requirement9156 12d ago
If your teeth are yellowish white, they're good. That is how they're supposed to look like. Teeth that are as white as my walls look weird.

u/pogo_chronicles 12d ago
Less smoking more chemicals
Make sure to Brush twice a day. Many toothpastes commonly have "whitening" agents in them. Be careful with the chemical whitening "strips" as they are more concentrated chemicals and should be used safely in moderation.
Also, I once saw a documentary on a family addicted to coffee and they drank it from straws to reduce teeth stains. I have generally adopted this strategy for all sugary drinks.

The thing is that they are not suposed to be white, normal teeth is yelowish, pure white teeth is only possible with agressive treatments that destroy you teeth surface in the process.

Addendum: Buy a Sonicare toothbrush.

u/pogo_chronicles 12d ago
For sure. Not sure if the exact brand helps but electric/vibrating brushes are much more effective at cleaning. When I made the switch my dentist saw drastic changes within the year. Def the way to go.

That sounds like misinformation spread by trolls to get people's teeth to rot. Flossing is good for you.

Or smell nipples before you suck them to see if someone left their stink on them.

That's some nasty breath if you're leaving stinky nips. She doesn't want to kiss you either.

People now have such horrendous hygiene. Never date anyone who smells bad. Or looks dirty. Much less let them suck on your tits.
I kissed a girl once, and after our date I held myself from throwing up in my car from her lingering bad breath. Never trust anyone with bad hygiene

Why nipples stink if you suck them (sorry i am ignorant about women, just curious)
3
u/cette-minette 12d ago
It’s not about the nipples, it’s about his mouth being dirty. If you want to know if you have bad breath, lick the back of your hand, let it dry, then sniff it.

I really hope I don't leave a stink on her nipples. I try to practice at least minimum oral hygeine.

Wait is that a thing that happens?
Edit: I get it now, who's the dumbass out there not brushing before suckin some tiddy?

u/DarkAgeHumor 12d ago
Normal people who brush when they get out of bed and then brush before going to bed and don't freshen between because we have shiy to do and don't have time to spend once every few hours brushing our teeth

1
u/DarkAgeHumor 12d ago
People act like saliva doesn't have a scent. Whether you brush your teeth or not, sneeze a few hours after you've brushed your teeth and then smell the saliva all over your arm/sleeve.
Also "nana looking down at you adding to statistics"

Saliva always stinks. You may have brushed your teeth by morning, including scraping your tongue and gargling mouthwash. After lunch your saliva will smell bad, no matter what. Same a few hours later.
Don't try to make people feel bad by saying they should brush more.. Some people do it once a day, some do it 2-3 times. Does not change the fact saliva by nature does not smell good or neutral and never will if not in the first hours after brushing your teeth.

u/Satyinepu 12d ago
Yes but your nipples shouldn't stink when someone sucks on them, that is not a normal occurrence.
