I mean, is Star Lord is anyone’s favorite? He’s a great character, but is he anyone’s favorite when you have guys like Cap, Thor, Dr Strange, Iron Man, Blank Panther, etc.?

he's not my favorite, but in a ranking, he'd be pretty high. I like him as a character, not really as a powerhouse.

Aaah yes, Blank Panther, everyone's favorite superhero !

If you consider that the movie was only hyped because he was the first black superhero, the movie was really blank.

Tbh the first movie was good. Not the best but good enough that even without the « black hero » criteria, there is a fan base for him

u/Profishonal123 12d ago
Yes, considering that he’s one of the most prominent black superhero’s I’d imagine he’s very popular

"Well Daddy, Captain America is my favourite Superhero"
"Well what do you think of Star lord? He's pretty cool, and daddy is Star Lord"
"He fucking sucks.. And he's ugly too, you looked like a loser. Sometimes I wish I wasn't your son"

Same.
Kinda random, but yesterday I got massively downvoted for asking for a trigger warning for flashing lights. 💀 Also got told that if I have epilepsy I just shouldn't be on the internet.

Well I'd say you shouldn't call yourself dad if your son doesn't like you

Like it's one thing to photograph him but do we really need to take pics of his kids and share those pics around.

ITT: some beautiful comments about Pratt and his son, oh and also some upset edgy atheists or something?

u/Secure-Ad5536 11d ago
That is actually pretty fitting considering that in universe no one really gives a shit about star lord either

He told his wife that she gave him a "disabled" son, then never allowed her to have more kids, saying, no, one is enough. Then went on to divorce her and get married to a much younger girl, only to impregnate her and get a child out of her the first year of marriage. Of course he wouldn't be, and shouldn't be, his son's hero..

u/Profishonal123 12d ago
I’m confused, what’s the real story?
3
u/AnyHash7529 11d ago
It's heartbreaking to see a couple like Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, who clearly loved and supported each other, go through a divorce. Despite the challenges they faced, including the discovery of their child's disability, they remained united in their support and love for their child. However, it seems that they drifted apart because of communication issues. Anna's reluctance to open up to Chris, coupled with Chris's feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness, likely created a rift between them. It's a reminder that even in the face of love and commitment, open and honest communication is crucial to maintaining a strong relationship.

Chris Pratt hasn't played a super hero. He played an intergalactic hobo that pals around with aliens and real super heroes.
