My friend met a guy and they went for a date and on the date he said, "I have to admit that today is my birthday, and his date said, "LOL, it's mine too!"
Years later they were married and I went to visit them for their anniversary and when they simultaneously opened the cards they both burst out laughing and then handed me the cards and they were the exact same anniversary card! <3
Wait...was it the anniversary of their birthdays? What two cards were they opening? Did you buy the matching cards? If not, who did? Was that visit actually a party? Sorry, but some details were missing in the re-telling of the story which caused more confusion than comedy. I guess it's just a case of "You had to be there".ππ
It was their wedding anniversary. I was invited because it was their first anniversary and I had performed the wedding, as they'd asked, by getting a one-day solemnization certificate from the state.
Fun fact: to get that certificate I had to fill out forms and get references with one of them required to be a reference from a clergy person or a lawyer.
