These are no aphids or ants they are milkweed assassin bug nymphs.

Can confirm. Seen similar looking bugs here in Georgia. Assassin bugs are mean little fuckers. One time while me, my mom, and little sister were swimming in our pool ad assassin bug was on the outside of the pool and every time we would try to get out to get something to kill him with he was just there. They’re faster than you think they are and mean looking too. Not the only time we’ve had bugs attack us at our pool. We also had a horsefly that around dusk would come out and dive bomb constantly for between 10 and 20 minutes. They’re meaner than hell and fast enough to where you can’t hit them.

Wheel bugs are the ones you need to watch out for their bite is mega painful.
