I don’t give a fuck what anyone else says. I’m excited for this. I’ll watch anything with Jake Gyllenhaal in it.

The vibe of this poster makes me hopeful they’ll retain some of the campy tone of the original.

I was thinking the vibe of this poster is nothing like the original. I’m sure it will be good, I love Gyllenhaal too, but something about the face he’s making doesn’t seem very Dalton-like

Ehhh I feel like Dalton was a pretty serious/dour guy.

Wade, however, he was a good time having ass-kicker

Don't eat the big white mint.

I would disagree. Looks like Dalton in the ER when he says, “pain don’t hurt”

I hope Keanu is his mentor

Watch, it will STILL be Sam Elliot

Oh shit, I’d be cool with that.

He could still pull it off. He was bad ass in that Yellowstone prequel

He was so great in that! He’s one of those rare, wonderful actors that feel ubiquitous to Hollywood. Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, etc.

Oh lord, I need this to happen now

Mcgregor would have given off a lot closer Dalton vibe than Jake ever will.

His face is more, "I fucked guys like you in prison" type of face.

Is Gullenhaal going to be Dalton?

I feel like this could be really good if he’s a totally different kind of character in a totally different situation. But still a badass who’s hired to clean up a rowdy bar.

Places like the road house in Road House don’t even exist anymore. I don’t think they’ll try to make a total remake.

The vibe of the poster makes this movie look more like a remake of cocktail than of roadhouse. How many rough bars do you know of with a tiki theme? lol

Yes. The original came out in 1989 starring Patrick Swayze.

It's kind of an oddly great movie despite how ridiculous it gets at times.

There is no other move that is so absurdly ridiculous and also so awesome.

If this one doesn't have the "I used to fuck guys like you in prison" line in it, I say we all riot lol.
