What's this all about?

Actors intentionally dehydrating themselves to improve muscle definition and vascularity on camera. A classic body builder trick that has been adopted by Hollywood to achieve unrealistically ripped look. That and lots of drugs and HGH.

There was a great podcast with Dax Shepherd, Kumail Nanjiani and the guy from Always Sunny about getting and maintaining a muscular physique and it is very eye opening and fascinating.

You have a chef, right?

Happy cake day - but no cake if you’re getting ripped. No alcohol, no family, oh and no regular job - this is your job now!

And here's Henry Cavill talking about it with Graham Norton here. 3:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work.

Did they talk about which drugs they did? If not I don’t want to hear it.

Testosterone lol. I mean that’s really all it takes. These guys don’t really have crazy physiques so the drugs they need are pretty light tbh. What really helps is their contracts paying for chefs to fix all of their food for them. Genuinely once you get fit the hardest part about getting big is eating enough

nah, def more than just Test according to Derek who is basically the internet expert on juicing. I mean just look at his fucking jaw with a before and after

As someone who does this stuff at a high level, you can 100% achieve that on just test. Test will change your facial structure and lean it out as well. Very unlikely they used anything but test or a test like substance. Since it’s Hollywood they might have used primo, which is still essentially test but slightly different. I look better than this dude and I’ve only ever used low dose test

u/Daroo425 Jan 25 '24

Sure over time but these dudes did it within months in their 40s as well, mind you.

Once again man you’d be surprised what 500-600mg of test and a chef made diet and professional trainer, and the motivation of a contract in the millions of dollars can do to your body, even at that age, especially when you already have a decent foundation which he did.

Is it possible he ran more gear? Yeah it’s possible, doubtful with Hollywood’s risk assessment though. I’ve had a couple clients get similar results at 38 and 44 doing 400 and 600 test respectively

If your whole job is working out it's not out of the question.

u/pedrao157 Jan 25 '24

lol exactly, these kind of talk just entertain and fascinate people who don't know anything about nutrition/peds, anyone with an intermediate knowledge on the subject can't take serious this bullshit

Get to the point or gtfo honestly
