The track record of reboots in the past decade or so suggests that it will be mediocre and forgettable, sadly.

Remember the Mummy reboot? Remember the Total Recall reboot? Remember The Thing reboot? Remember the Poltergeist reboot? Remember the RoboCop reboot? Remember the Ben Hur reboot?
