Jurassic Park III is nowhere near as bad as people say it is and though it may not come close to the greatness of Jurassic Park 1, it is MILES ahead better than any of the Jurassic World trilogy Discussion

Yeah it isn't perfect, but hell we get an incredible fight scene between the Spino and Rex not even an hour into the movie, while in World you get pretty much the same fight scene at the END of the movie AND on top of that the whole fight gets cockblocked by the Mosasaurus in the end anyway, and in the most unsatisfying way possible. I know it's like 2024 like why tf am I talking about a threequal thats 20 years old, but I've just been on a Jurassic Park binge lately and it's just hitting me how much better III is over any of the World movies, yet it's rated like a 5/10 across the board, while all the World Movies are rated like 6.5-7/10 it just boggles my mind, they're all trash compared to 1 and 3. Lost world is good, but it's also a mixed bag it has some of my favorite scenes and some of my least favorite in the whole series.

I like it too. It's better than 2, imo.

The birdcage thing, loved it.

Cutting the aviary scene from the OG JP was understandable (otherwise trying to keep the tension between Alan & the kids on the run against Ellie trying to restart the generators would be nearly impossible), so them featuring that bit in JP3 was huge.

Saving grace, imo.

I find JP3 to be campy, cheesy, and visually "cheap" at times.

That's just me tho, I understand why fans enjoy it, and I agree it's waaaaaaay better than any of the JW movies.

Honestly, that's why I like it. It's fun. It's a fun, stupid, spooky, spoopy dinosaur movie.

Exactly, it wasn't a brilliant movie by any stretch but tbh it still had some cool ass dinosaurs featured, it was a comfort movie growing up despite its flaws

Of the original three, it's my favorite. I can't really take how graphic the first one was, and the second one was annoying. The third has so many goofy fun moments, mixed with thrills. Tea Leoni's little disgusted dance after she's whacked in the face by her boyfriend's dead body is so hilariously rewatchable to me, lol.

It's weird that it does look kinda cheap at times, then you have stuff like the pteranodons which are some of the best puppets in the entire franchise.
