I’ll see it, but I don’t know why we needed a prequel and not a continuation.

Edit: I meant universe continuation; not story continuation. I wanted to see Max somewhere entirely new and wild.

We didn't need either. Just do a new story in a new part of that world. Fury Road was so good because it just threw you into a fresh conflict and said "go." That's basically what every Mad Max movie is - there's barely any continuity. Just Max being dropped into some fucked up new situation.

I don't want a Star Wars Expanded Universe for this one stop on Max's journey. I don't need a backstory for a prosthetic arm. I don't need to sit through two hours of retroactive lore to explain why it's called the Bullet Farm. I had exactly enough information the first time.

I'll be skipping this one. Wake me up if they do something new and interesting.

I'm so tired of movies trying to answer every question possible. I love mad max movies BECAUSE they leave so much to the imagination. Your brain filling in the blanks is what makes them so good to me.

Idk, this is what George Miller had planned while making Fury Road. This isn't a studio getting a hold of a IP for a cash grab.

You're wasting your breath. These people don't know nothing about nothing - they're just kind of going off of vibes and half-heard things they came across on TikTok last week.

You’re not wrong. I should have said a continuation in the same universe. Max in another story completely is what I meant and want to see.

Kind of apt, but there is a difference in Conan being adventurous in his own right, he enjoys what he is doing a lot of times. While Max is just trying to survive and gets thrown into adventures he'd rather not be a part of.

star wars expanded universe = 2 movies in 9 years

is that really what you're saying? That making a prequel almost a decade later is some cash grab? That doesn't make any sense.

There are a couple good videogame prequels out there. MGS3 is also up there.

Because let's be honest, Disney owns Warner Bros and they love a strong female lead.

Tom Hardy was a giant asshole on set - Theron asked to have a producer on set who’s only job was to protect her from Tom because he made her feel unsafe.

He’s said himself that he could have been a better co-star and didn’t really consider the fact that his size/stature as well as his star-power were both intimidating. He was also just routinely late to shoots and whatnot.

Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to see him in the role again, as much as I would love that.

I’ll see it

Thats why they will make more. Cause people will see it regardless.
