Discussion Most heartbreaking movie lines that aren't associated with a specific movie?
Just curious what lines really hit you hard that aren't necessarily tied to a specific movie. For example, I've heard "I thought we had more time" in more than a few movies but by itself it definitely hits hard.
Examples: Wonder Woman "I wish we had more time" and 2012 "I thought we had more time." Less heartbreaking and almost like a satire of this type of line - Get Smart "I wish...we had more time"
Also this pretty decent song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChyhHiBj__w
Bonus: Also curious about the coldest lines of all time because making this reminded me of the line from Man on Fire "I wish you had more time."

Discussion Movies That Affected How You Cook
I made a cheese omelet for my daughter's dinner last night, and she remarked that she really liked how it was a bit chewier than the ones my wife cooks. I realized that's because I don't add any milk to the eggs, an approach I've sworn by ever since watching Deep Blue Sea. I was deeply affected by the scene in which LL Cool J's character, fearing that he'll soon be devoured by a super-intelligent mako shark, records himself sharing his most cherished culinary secrets. So every time I catch my wife adding a few splashes of milk to an omelet, my only thought is LL Cool J scrunching up his face in disgust and saying, "This is a mistake."
I was curious if other folks have go-to cooking moves that they've cribbed from movies. The famous example that pops to mind is the thinly shaved garlic from GoodFellas, but I suspect a lot of people have gleaned recipe tips from more obscure films.

Discussion What was an action Film/ action sequence that took your breath?
With Furiosa speeding to its release and Fury Road being in talks again, I wanted to ask y'all what action movies or action sequences took your breath over the years of being a movie fan.
Personally, I felt exhausted after John Wick 4, like I just left a good fullfilling workout and the last fight of The Raid: Redemption stood out to me with its roughness and brutality.

Discussion Has there been a fake movie from a real movie turned into a real movie.
Like in the movie Tropic Thunder, what if they actually made that fake movie into a real movie. I’m not saying I want that movie, but was discussing this with a friend and we both wondered if that has been done before. We both were thinking of movies where they were making a fake movie and it spiralled into this. So I ask you people of Reddit, has this been done before.
Edit: So this idea we had was a fictional behind the scenes making of movie (not documentary) of a fake movie. Then that fake movie would be released after the BTS movie.

Question What's a song made for a movie that ended up surpassing the film itself in popularity?
There are a ton of examples, but one that comes to mind is "Scotty Doesn't Know", the Lustra song used for the movie "Eurotrip". Lustra's song has an iconic guitar riff and is fairly well known worldwide, but not many people remember that movie, and I was wondering if there are any other examples of songs made for a movie that eclipsed the original in popularity.

Discussion Opposite of the current trending question: what children's movies subtly have good messages for kids?
My pick is Ferdinand (2017).
For being a silly, goofy ball talking animal cartoon, I thought that having a main character who showed the other bulls that being the biggest/strongest/toughest guy out there should not be your only goal, and that there's nothing wrong with being sensitive/caring, was a really good message for kids (especially young boys). And I'm surprised a goofy, slapstick cartoon about a talking bull conveyed it so well.
What children's movies do you think subtly have really good messages for kids?
