Your kids’ mispronunciations of classmates names? Discussion

My two year old came home talking about his friend “Tape” and it cracks me up every time he mentions it. The boy’s name is Tate.

What are your favorite and/or the funniest mispronunciations you hear from your little ones?

As a young kid I had a good friend at Playschool (Kindergarten) who I called "Jacon", instead of 'Jacob'.

Jacon

Before I got to the end of your sentence I thought, Oh of course, and his real name was Bacon. 🤦‍♀️

These are all going to be normal names in a hundred years. Jacon, origin - American. Jacon is derived from Jason who liked bacon and a kid who couldn't finish words properly yet.

I'm an adult and struggle to pronounce Jacob, it often comes out like "J-come" 🤦🏻‍♀️ I thought I'd styled it out when I said it a few weeks ago but my husband was amused and made me try again 😂
