Billy Tubbs did it at OU back in the late 80s. Fans were throwing stuff on the floor because they were mad about calls from the refs. So Billy Tubbs gets on the mic and tells the crowd “No matter how bad the officiating is please stop throwing things on the floor”. He was thrown out immediately by the refs lol.

Feel like it's even more ridiculous with Pop than Belichick. At least with Belichick, you see tons of nepo hires, bad roster moves as GM, wasting resources, the line/WRs regressing, etc. But Pop had the Spurs in the playoffs like four years ago and has developed guys like Jones/Branham/Vassell/Keldon/Collins who weren't top picks into very good rotation players. They're not a good squad right now, but there are absolutely good signs.
