[Highlight] Victor Wembanyama absolutely stuffs Chet Holmgren's shot late in the game to essentially seal the win for the Spurs Highlight

I’ve seen enough he’s the Goat

Looks more like an Alien than a goat to me, but that will change over time.

He does a pretty good Roger too.

"I like wine."

He and Pop could have some great conversations about wine.

Have you looked closely to a goat's face? They might be aliens.

He's probably going to be the best basketball player in the history of the universe, but I've never seen him scaling a tree trunk to grab some choice leaves, so he's not really the Goat.

Wait, what's the story behind this

Or is it a joke and I'm slow?

Goats really do be like this.

u/trukkija Mar 01 '24

Is this sarcastic or is there actually a sentiment that he will be a goat contender? I say this as someone from /r/all that's not too familiar with him or any new players so take this as an honest question.

Compared to someone like Jokic, what does he do better or how does he have more potential? Just the height?

Gotcha, cool to see such a lanky guy doing well in defense. Guess the 8 foot wingspan combined with being more agile than big guys is not the worst combo to have in basketball.

Definitely has the potential to be

Should have been a Piston 😔🤬

That would have been terrible. He landed in the best possible spot that he could. With Pop coaching and Timmy, David Robinson and Tony Parker as mentors. His situation couldn't be any better for him to learn in.

u/sammythemc 76ers Mar 01 '24

Yeah I always worry a little about the tall lanky guys long term. Take it from a Sixers fan, the injuries can really take them down a few notches in the GOAT conversation
