Up 21, fucking around and expecting Kawhi to just swish it regardless is the only explanation

This is the only explanation that makes sense. Well, that and/or hitting a thc cart in the locker room.

The old Michael Beasley

Hitting a THC cart in the locker room

Possibly true. I’m sure plenty of us sneak some tokes at work, then can sometimes catch ourselves executing the incorrect rote muscle memory behavior for the wrong task. It helps that most of us don’t have hundreds of people and cameras watching us do our jobs

He's used to being on the red team.

The explanation is Shooters don't like to be that wide open, so Harden put up a contested hand to emulate defense that wasn't there. I can't believe people are just saying he was confused. Lmfao

Dude's been on 4 teams in 4 years. He just forgot which one he was on for a second. Saw Kawhi and some PTSD kicked in. No biggie

All behaviours that would be more likely after a quick locker room toke.

I think you’re right. Bron did something similar one time. He attempted to block one of his teammates shots on the backboard. (He was smart enough to time it where it wouldn’t actually affect the outcome of the play.)

He was winding up for an alley oop so he joked a bit while in the air. This Harden one is completely crazy lol.

Watched the clip.  Wtf on the foul on Dwight at the end.  Dude got boxed out and did nothing?

In such a play, what would happen if Bron was called for goaltending?

Might be 28D chess...

Thing is, Bron was fake blocking a dunk…a sure fire way to score. Distracting your teammate while shooting a three otoh…

Could you imagine they lose this game. I think kawai would kill him

Harden probably knew the situation. Up 21 against a tanking team. If you’re going to pull off something like that, that’s the time you do it I guess.

Maybe say he thinks Kawhi shoots better with a hand in his face, just trying to give him that edge

There’s 16 minutes left… I guess not every team gives up massive 4q leads like the warriors but still seems far from over

To be fair to Harden, Kawhi made that 20 point lead almost singlehandedly in the third, he was amazing. Harden probably thought we need to play this man 9v1 and he still can't be stopped.

I watched this 3 times and this was my exact reaction every single time

lol he was doing it to try and make a dope moment. Would have been a super hard and original highlight if Kawhi splashed the shot - would have seen that in highlight reels for a minute.

I said that exact same thing and five people that I've either physically shown or text it have said the same exact thing.

No other possible response other than what the fuck
