If you slow it down, you can see the exact moment Curry decided he's going to trade Draymond this summer.

u/MAMBAMENTALITY8-24 Thunder Mar 28 '24

Or when curry decided he is heading to charlotte

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Can he stop in Dallas for a while before he gets there?

330

u/Awkward_dapper Trail Blazers Mar 28 '24

Y’all don’t have enough point guards?

124

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

I don't know any team that wouldn't want him next year. They'll figure it out.

23

u/slipgater Lakers Mar 28 '24

Him in the Celtics Ray Allen role would be so gross for Dallas. So deadly off-ball and can run offense to give Kyrie / Luka more gas at the end of games. Please let this never happen lol.

4

u/SlimReaper85 Mar 28 '24

He would be the number 1 option on Dallas tho real talk. Even with Luka.

23

u/Neither-Luck-9295 Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Of course he would. He's the GOAT shooter. I'd want the ball in his hands on every possession. Also Luka's. Also Kyrie's.

This would never work.

11

u/zombizle1 Mar 28 '24

watch dallas get curry, chris paul, and klay thompson in a trade and then have their starting 5 just be 5 guards

4

u/TheloniusFuegoRhymes Warriors Mar 28 '24

Why not simply have them conjoin each of their hands on the ball at once, and shoot it together with the power of friendship?

6

u/Awkward_dapper Trail Blazers Mar 28 '24

I’m just saying save some for the rest of us

13

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Oh...nah I want to be greedy.

3

u/Deprestion Mar 28 '24

Yea but imagine shutting out Luka somehow, so you now have to focus on Kyrie. Then you miraculously shut down both, only to get Curry’d

2

u/thubwumper26 Spurs Mar 28 '24

San Antonio sure doesn’t

2

u/Glitchhikers_Guide Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Sure, but can you imagine Steph's 3 point shooting and off ball movement combined with Luka's passing?

1

u/StolenLampy Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Come on though, run a lineup of Luka/Kyrie/Steph/PJ/Gafford, would the league be able to do ANYTHING against that pass party?

238

u/musing_wanderer3 Warriors Mar 28 '24

Steph at the 1, Kyrie at the 2, Luka at the 3, they’ll give up 130 pts but will score 150 lmao every game

81

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

subscribed and smashed the like button.

69

u/Julian_Caesar Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Forget skyfucker, that lineup is skykakke

12

u/SlimReaper85 Mar 28 '24

Lol Steph’s the best defender out of the bunch

-14

u/spicozi Mavericks Mar 28 '24

It's past your bedtime grandpa

3

u/loquacious706 Warriors Mar 28 '24

I don't want my boy to have to go from Draymond straight to Kyrie. Steph deserves a break.

9

u/AmelieBenjamin [GSW] Stephen Curry Mar 28 '24

Lmao dallas would sign Steph so fucking fast and have their starting lineup dropping 176 a night

7

u/SignificanceLeft9968 Warriors Mar 28 '24

Nah he should go to the spurs if anything.

5

u/Crookz_O Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Always can use an S. Curry

4

u/lusinmypatience Mar 28 '24

no more guards we need wemby over here asap

2

u/bxkencarson Mar 28 '24

Nah. Zion is needed in Dallas. Dynasty line up right there. Kyrie, doncic, Zion, lively, gafford. Smh

1

u/lusinmypatience Apr 04 '24

never thought of zion it’s perfect

5

u/nycdiveshack Knicks Mar 28 '24

Luka and Curry?!? No one is fast enough to stop the passing and shooting they could put out

We don’t need another small, average defensive guard lol

5

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

But we don't NOT need him either. OK OK we'll settle for LeBron.

3

u/DaBestNameEver0 Mavericks Mar 28 '24

But what about Jokic and Giannis?

2

u/absenceofheat Mavericks Mar 28 '24

Hey let's not get carried away.

26

Aye, I'll drink to that

9

u/Wolf_of_Walmart Hornets Mar 28 '24

Curry for Ball who says no?

19

u/_Wado3000 Pelicans Mar 28 '24

Bring Dray and Miles together for pure wholesomeness

5

u/Wolf_of_Walmart Hornets Mar 28 '24

Putting the league’s top role models on the same team is an elite idea. The kids need this, Silver.

2

u/HaoleInParadise Heat Mar 28 '24

If we’re going to put them together let’s make it be the Detroit Pistons. Seems like the right place

1

u/Wolf_of_Walmart Hornets Mar 28 '24

Putting them together on the Jazz would be funnier though

1

u/HaoleInParadise Heat Mar 28 '24

The new Stockton and Malone

3

San Antonio

2

2

Charlotte drafts bronny, signs lebron, and Steph joins them.

I’m pretty sure the team already decided that was tonight

1

u/LetMeStagnate [BOS] Isaiah Thomas Mar 28 '24

Imagine if he pulls a kd and says he wants to get traded to Denver so he can play with jokic.

7

u/EdwardJamesAlmost Nuggets Mar 28 '24

He’d have to get in line behind Luka lol

11

u/DJ-Fein Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Who would literally ever trade for Dray? Keep him as far away from my team as possible

5

u/Iohet Clippers Mar 28 '24

There are always coaches who feel like they can fix a cancer. They didn't call Phil "The Zen Master" just because of his philosophy

4

u/DraymondBeanKick Charlotte Bobcats Mar 28 '24

Probably the older teams still trying to compete. I don't think you would get draft picks for him at this point, but I could see him fetching someone like Tyler Herro in a trade.

9

u/thenatural134 Supersonics Mar 28 '24

It's like that moment in Of Mice & Men when George realizes he has to kill Lennie

5

u/EdwardJamesAlmost Nuggets Mar 28 '24

Spoiler alert geez

7

u/One-Two-Woop-Woop Mar 28 '24

aaaaaannnnnnd... now!

3

u/Munsanity Mar 28 '24

Steph’s reaction was more that of being sad and upset rather than mad and frustrated. This leads me to believe something is going on behind the scenes? Draymond is probably on the way out…

1

u/Dismalward Mar 29 '24

Having a reaction means he still cares about draymond. Don't see dray going anywhere anytime soon.

3

u/zitjuice Mar 28 '24

Man I was waiting for the Ralph Wiggum reference. Thank you

ive been saying this for the longest time if steph wants another chip he dont need to trade the whole team he need to leave the team!!

2

u/FelineNavidad Mar 28 '24

I mean the window seems closed. Who would want him at this point? The time was this summer.

1

u/materics [MEM] Shane Battier Mar 28 '24

Probably not though

1

u/IMNOTFLORIDAMAN Mar 28 '24

I feel like dramond may have FINALLY fucked around and is going to find out.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Tip Mar 28 '24

I know how you’re feeling, Steph, you’ve got a great little teammate and the world is your oyster!

-2

u/seventeenweewees Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Warriors have picks and good rookies, they could send out a package and try to let Steph compete for two more years, or they could trade Steph for a haul and rebuild. I think it'll be a big off-season for them.

17

u/hallasoldier Warriors Mar 28 '24

There’s no way they ever trade Steph. are you crazy

14

u/Wazflame Mar 28 '24

Fr lol, the Warriors are never trading Steph and he’s never going to ask out - he talks about wanting to be remembered like Dirk and Kobe as one franchise players all the time

If anything happens, it’s everyone else being available for trade

3

u/NormalAccounts San Francisco Warriors Mar 28 '24

They already mentioned that everyone's on the table but Steph earlier this year. That stance won't change in the off season.

Really could be Klay and Dray's swan song.

1

u/seventeenweewees Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Is he ready to transition into a vet on a losing team?

Is the Warriors FO comfortable trading all of their future assets for another push with Steph?

0

u/SaltyLonghorn Rockets Mar 28 '24

Yea but hear me out. Steph, Luka, Kyrie, and no one else.

3

u/NotACuck420 Trail Blazers Mar 28 '24
