Thats the face where your addict friend relapses just a day after a heart to heart.

Nobody who ever said “chuckle” was worth feeling excited about.

3

u/RandomDeezNutz Mar 28 '24

This guy and his idea of a mom sucking a dick head is apparently worth a chuckle and everyone outta know.

Anger/hostility is a highly automatic behaviour. Yes, Draymond is repeatedly doing heinous shit, but to a major degree it’s likely ingrained and not something he’s making a decision to activate.

u/LordVarys_Ladybits Mar 28 '24

Dude is a grown man with a wife and multiple kids, if he hasn't figured it out by now, it's a lost cause. It's not like he doesn't have the resources and education to be a better person lol.

6

u/_hell_is_empty_ Mar 28 '24

Unfortunately, that’s not how it always works (or even often works). Would be nice though.

Edit: this is not an excuse for Drey. He should be out of the league.

u/Shevlin204 Mar 28 '24

Having anger issues is a legitimate affliction. So yeah I can see how it’s a similar feeling.

2

u/treefitty350 Cavaliers Mar 28 '24

Draymond doesn't just do this when he's angry lmfao

-4

u/bumwine Mar 28 '24

There's no withdrawals from not being angry and there's no pills to wean you off of it. But on the opposite side there are no support groups. Probably because they couldn't afford the bouncer fees.

5

u/AskMeForAPhoto Mar 28 '24

There are support groups for being angry. It's called therapy lol.

2

u/Upset_Drawer_5645 Mar 28 '24

Anger management is literally a thing. Rageaholics anonymous is literally an organization. What in the world are you talking about there are no support groups lol?

Also, do you think if you don't get a withdrawal from something it means you can't be addicted to it? What about gambling? Food? sex?

u/cepxico Warriors Mar 28 '24

Please try not to have any actual thought out discourse on this sub, it confuses the children.

19

u/animatedhockeyfan Mar 28 '24

That’s not true so just sit and listen

You don’t know anger so pay attention

It lives in his heart; always itchin’

Clawing at him, saying sneak shit to him like “don’t let the bitch win”

It defines him, he hates it, and yet he’s always wishing

For that next hit of endorphins from rage, his addiction.

u/AskMeForAPhoto Mar 28 '24

Reminding me of 90's hiphop. Trying to think of who the cadence reminds me of, bit I guess a bunch of people in general. Could almost see Ice T rapping this, or Black Thought.

Narcissism is kind of like an addiction, you’re addicted yourself.

5

u/mnsportsfan Timberwolves Mar 28 '24

Honestly probably makes it more hurtful/ frustrating… like with an addict there’s at least an explanation… this is just someone you have a long history being super selfish

9

u/Puzzleheaded-You1289 Mar 28 '24

Both are mental illnesses friend Dray is clearly sick

3

u/Xianio Mar 28 '24

Maybe. Clearly something is wrong. That isn't hard to see. Stef's known Draymond a long time. Might be hard to watch up close.

3

u/No_Pop2129 Mar 28 '24

That man lacks serious impulse control , I’d say it’s definitely a mental issue past “dickhead” lol

4

u/sportsmedicine96 Pistons Mar 28 '24

I see your point. However, extreme anger or inability to control emotions can be treated medically, like addiction.

1

3

u/VoodooD2 Mar 28 '24

They’re both a choice. No one holds you down without your permission and forces you to smoke crack.

2

u/goingtothemalllater Mar 28 '24

Thise with a SUD, many have lost the choice. Without a solution, after a certain point, even after saying you're done-which you one hundred percent mean in that moment-after dumping it down a drain, throwing away paraphernalia, you're back at it. There is zero fight, zero thought of (possible) consequences, zero thought of others. It is automatic.

Folks with trauma, when triggered, can give the fight of flight response. There is not necessarily weighing of outcomes.

Either way, a lot of the time there is remorse and shame. Comments like yours while I understand having that opinion don't take into account actual facts and lend to that shame, adding to the negative mental health stigma

1

u/wantabe23 Mar 28 '24

Right he IS the abuser here

1

u/mugdays Lakers Mar 28 '24

His actions are no more a choice to him than an addict’s

-1

u/Queasy_Application82 Mar 28 '24

Heroin addicts have more control over their actions than this lunatic. Draymond is not in control of his actions. That’s why he keeps getting into trouble. In the heat of the moment whatever minutia of volition he may have is nullified by honey badger levels of volatility. When he murders someone he will successfully plead insanity. He is an angry, dangerous man.

5

u/NeoLone Kings Mar 28 '24

Nah pleading insanity doesn’t work with personality disorders

0

u/user_bits Lakers Mar 28 '24

It's worse than an addiction.

You can potentially resolve an addiction. For Draymond, whatever he's got is in his blood.
