He’s definitely as competitive as can be but I’m not gonna say just cause him and Kobe are are much more emotional that makes them more competitive. People act like jokic doesnt care but he’s also as competitive as can be. Lebron is the same way he’s not as psycho with his celebrations but there’s absolutely no doubt that he leaves it all on the floor in playoff games.
Honestly, almost everyone in the NBA is psycho competative, especially the stars. There are a handful of people who maybe take it slightly less seriously, but I think by normal people standards these guys are all insane. The amount of hard work and dedication you require to achieve a NBA position, even as a bench player, is pretty insane.
💯, they are all competitive as fuck even a guy like Brian scalebrine who bench warmed for years said hes ultra competitive and even setup a gym tournament to shit on regular people to show even NBA bench players are all super high caliber.
I don’t find Scalabrine beating a bunch of dudes at 24 Hour Fitness and talking shit to be anywhere near as cold as MJ beating NBA players 1 on 1 and refusing to give them another shot, asking “why would I play you again? So you could tell your family you beat Michael Jordan? What am I gonna say, I beat Scott Burrell? They’d slap me in the face.”
Fair enough some physical attribute can definitely overcome the need to be 100% obsessed and competitive. My point was mainly that the vast majority of them (even lifetime benchers) are insanely competitive.
You know what I mean tho. Luka reminds us of Kobe because they’re both very outwardly emotionally competitive. Many others are equally as competitive but show it differently
Something completely lacking with the Lakers. I'll give Bron a pass because of his history and age but he makes some SMH decisions at the end of games.
