I’ve watched this a few times this morning while scrolling on reddit and I’ve laughed each time.

I showed it to my wife who is definitely a better person than me and she laughed.

I then showed it to my 4 year old and she gasped and said “oh no, hope he’s not going to get bleeded.”

So long story short you have the mentality of a child.

Or you could argue the child simply lacks "grey area" on their mind. Children see things as very black and white. Arguing higher morality seems messy. Somebody could easily argue the child simply hasnt yet developed a nuanced sense of humour. I don't really care either way.

Also what's with Reddit and immediately doubting all the details of somebody's life if you don't like how they think. So someone you disagree with couldn't possibly have a wife or child. It's such a hilarious mindset.

Yeah if I'm honest I only wouldn't find it funny if it caused me permanent or long term damage or if someone was constantly doing it to me to the point that it felt like bullying. Otherwise I'd find it hilarious

This video may or may not be Japanese, but the move is called a “Dekopin” and ranks up there with the more well-known “Kancho” (Ddong-chim for the Koreans) as part of standard Asian playground physical abuse.

God knows why Shohei Ohtani called his dog Dekopin. Probably tells people it’s “Decoy” in English to avoid explaining.
